Splinterlands | I bought my first max level Rebellion card today

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are spending an awesome day with your family and friends and enjoying the the fresh and first week the the new year! I also enjoyed the the celebration and went to visit the downtown and had good dishes and enjoyed the night vibes while roaming throuout the city. But now after celebrating the festival now its time for us to jump into our machine again and start working towards a more productive goal for this new year and that includes our splinterlands journey as well. If you are connected to this game, you must know that there is a whole new edition of playing cards that got launched into this game and also got added to the gameplay lately and the newest cardset is called Rebellion. Now, as a modern player of the game, it is personally affecting me badly as I did not invest in this card-set yet and does not have a good collection of this edition in max level in order to fight against other players in the field while Battling in champion level. So, I have set a goal for me in this year of 2024 to buy and make a complete collection of at least 2 elements including all the summoner and monster cards within this quarter and the faster I achieve this, the quickly I will move to Neutral and Dragon element cards.

My Rebel goal

I started buying the Rebellion edition cards slowly and at lower BCX levels but at the same time I was looking at the market for good deals on max or high level cards while increasing my liquid balance. Till now I had bought 4 cards from the water and 1 cards from the fire element and among them, 2 are summoner cards. However, Today when I again went to take a quick look if there are any new max cards those got listed in market and found out that a bunch of them new rebellion cards while are at max level are freshly listed for fair prices. As my current focus is in the Water element, I started looking for the cards that are in blue background and found out that there are 3 such cards. Among them 3, I took some time to think and finally went with the monster that I will talking in detail at below. I bought the card directly as a max level card and I used credits which I bought with hive directly to make the purchase.

So, in this post I will be talking about newest purchase an the very first max rebel card that came in my collection and as you have already seen this the thumbnail, in this post I will be talking about Endura Brune. So, without taking anymore time of yours, lets begin..

Endura Brune

Endura is a legendary Rebellion card that needs 11 BCX to get upgraded into max level and this cards belong to the Water element. This card is a monster card that costs 9 mana to be used in the battlefield and it’s attack type is ranged. As for its offered advantage in the filed it comes with silence and headwinds ability with it that decreases all the enemy ranged and magic attacker’s attack power by 1. This is really help in the battle to decrease the firepower of the opponent while taking out his cards one by one quickly. Now without further delay, let me take a deeper look at its level wise stats and abilities at below.

Bronze

At level 1, this monster possesses 2 ranged power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 10 health along with 1 ability from its initial level, Amplify. The Amplify ability will increases the amount of damage that my friendly monsters will via thorns, return fire or magic reflect by +1. So its advisable to add monsters with such ability while using this monster in the field so that you can add extra damages in your enemy minsters and kill the faster.

Silver

At level 2, this monster gets 2 ranged attack at 3 speed with 2 armour and 10 health and it also gets another new ability, Silence at this level. The silence ability will reduce every enemy Magic monster’s attack power by 1. So this monster suddenly becomes more powerful against magic monsters and can used in such conditions.

Gold

When this monster gets upgraded to level 3, it gets 2 ranged attack at 4 speed with 2 armour and 20 health and it also gets another ability, Headwinds. With this new ability it will now reduce the attack power of all the enemy ranged monsters by 1. So now, this monster is very usable against both Ranged and Magic attacker monsters and can be used from medium o high mana limit matches.

Diamond / Champion

Finally when this monster upgrades to max level 4, it still gets the 2 ranged attack and with 4 speed, 2 armour and 10 health and it also gets another new ability Swift. So with this ability, every friendly monster in the lineup will get +1 speed and thus making them all faster suddenly.

With a basket of total 4 abilities that it gets one by one level wise makes him a gold defensive card that covers multiple area of defence as a single card. This certainly increases the value of this card but however, its attack is very low even in max level and throughout all its levels from 1 to 4, it possesses only 2 ranged attack. So you better try to add more cards with high attack power while using this card in you lineup.

My Purchase and Cashback

As for my purchase, I used my regular card shopping website monstermarket.io and it is one of the best 3rd party front-end of the official splinterlands cards buy page and allows to buy the card from their interface while giving 3% cash-back instantly in form of dec whenever you buy cards from theirs website, desired in your Hive-engine account.
