Splinterlands | My total SPS Stake Crossed 135k

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I guess all of you are enjoying this beautiful weekend with your loved ones and also in your meantime, I hope that you are enjoying this game on a daily basis and collecting those lucrative rewards in hour collection and growing yourself in this game. As of writing this, we have already come near the halfway of this ongoing ranked season and only 8 days left for this season to end, So I hope that just like me, you all are also focused fully upon your playing and reaching your favourite goal league or a place in the leaderboard. For me, I have started Playing the modern format for quite some time now and also upgraded my playing place from Diamond to Champion league and gladly, I am earning a bit more by playing in the top most league in this game and as the season going to get ended within next week, soon I will be preparing myself for the upcoming war for one of the leaderboard positions.

As of my current stat, I am right now standing at Champion II tier with a trophy count of total 4,185 and by now, I have been able to collect a total of 47 season reward chests so far. Now looking at today’s daily focus mission, I got the IMPAIR rule as my focus mission and completed playing for the day after collecting total 11 reward chests. To reach the top 10 position in champion league, I must have to cross at least 4400 trophy count so that I het myself a safe place, but as you can see, I am quite a far away from my goal right now and have to collect another at least 200+ trophies which is a really tough job respecting the fact that I will be facing all the OG big players while playing from here onwards. After a certain limit, one win in the ranking format only earns us 3 or 4 trophies but a loss costs us around whopping 30 - 34 trophies so reaching up there always feel challenging and impossible but anyway, I have to try hard for this season as well and try with my next if I can catch a place among the toppers for those juicy DEC rewards.

SPS Accumulation milestone

Now, let’s move towards my main topic as in this post I will be talking about SPS and my accumulation strategy and future goals. For those who are new to this game, SPS is the in-game reward currency as well as the Governance token of this game and has multiple Utilities in the game and as a crypto token. The total number of SPS supply is around 1.14 billion and among that 693 million SPS is already staked by the users which is a clear indicator this project’s fanbase. The current price of SPS token is 0.014$ as being traded in hive-engine and like most of you, I am also trying to stake as many SPS as I can in my in-game account with time. Just last day, I crossed another sweet milestone of staking more than 135k SPS in my account and I am glad to move forward with my goal of staking a total of 200k SPS in my account. As a believer of this project and the SPS token, I have a soft corner regarding this token and since its launch in this game, I am accumulating SPS in my wallet that I earn by playing the game and from the SPS staking rewards. NOW, let me talk about why I am bullish on this token at below.

More SPS, more in-game rewards

With the new reward mechanism changes in the game, now in order to earn good amount of SPS while winning ranked match and also to earn more reward points that will unlock more reward chests. SPS has to be staked in the player fame account. As I am playing in Champion, the top most league in this game with a current stake of 135k SPS, I am earning around 9 - 12 SPS per win in ranked arena and obviously more reward points than in Diamond league. So staking more SPS is directly helping me to earn more SPS while playing the game. My current staked SPS alone gives me around 6.91 Boost modifier which helps me to win more SPS from ranked match wins and also helps me to collect More reward points which gets me more focus and season reward chests.

Tournament requirement

While playing tournaments, every official or big tournament has a certain amount of minimum staked SPS requirement to enter the tourney, so without a decent staked amount, you can not play those tournaments which includes good amount of prizes to be won. Playing Champion or gold foil card tournaments also require huge amount of staked SPS as requirement but also holds a great amount of prizes for top place holders, so for serious players who want to earn better from the game must have to stake SPS in their account.

Staked rewards

Not only staked SPS helps us to earn more rewards by playing the actual game but it also provides us staking rewards in form of SPS and Vouchers for simply just staking SPS in our in-game wallet. As of current rate, staking SPS gives around 15.14% APR return to SPS investors and the rewards are given in form of liquid SPS and vouchers which can be sold or traded in the market or being re-staked for growth.

SPS Delegation rewards

Another great usability of SPS is that you can list your staked SPS for delegation and if someone choose to buy the delegation, you will be paid in DEC for just delegating your SPS to others, and that is on top of your staking SPS rewards. This option is very beneficial for those who like to hold the token but does not play the game frequently. They can earn both staking rewards + delegation rewards on their staked SPS just by delegating them to other players who need it.

With the game constantly changing and evolving towards a better future, I really get a vibe that SPS will be a gem in future and will provide great returns to its investors.
