Splinterlands | JUNKER is here to Repair your Broken Armours
What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying the day with your loved ones. For splinterlands players, I guess the time is pretty tough right now, cause only 3 days left for this ongoing ranked season to meet its end and most probably, all of you players are fighting with your best effort right now on the battlefield. For those of you who have been playing this game for quite a while, do know how the battlefield turns into a bloodbath during these last days of season end, cause during this time almost all the players around the world who played this amazing game get super active and play with their utmost effort snd strategy to rank higher in the game and fulfil their season goals, be it to climb up to a certain league or Tier or secure a place in the champion leaderboard. Now talking about me, I am right now playing at the borderline of the Diamond II tier with exactly a 3100 trophy count, and I am still unable to go any further than this point because of facing ferocious opponents when playing. But having another 3 days in hand and an almost full energy bar, I am thinking of spending more time on this game until the season ends and keeping playing till the last moment, so that I can grab some more SPS and Glint rewards before the season timer gets reset.
Now, allow me to move forward to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another amazing monster card with you all that we often use in battles to mainly repair broken armours apart from getting a good attacker. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today we will be talking about JUNKER! So, without anymore further delay, let us jump right in!
JUNKER
JUNKER is a monster type card that comes under Riftwatchers mini edition card set and falls in the Chaos Legion set. This card’s attack type is melee and it belongs to the Neutral element, which means if allowed by match rulesets, you can easily use this monster in your lineup while choosing any element. It is a common type of card, so it needs a total of 400 BCX of cards to be upgraded to the maximum level. It costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this cool defensive card in your lineup while playing medium to large mana limit matches. Apart from having a good attack, speed and health - the main feature of this card is its repair ability which we will be discussing about below. Now, let us take a further look into its league wise stats and abilities below to find out more about this monster.
BRONZE
At level 3, this monster card possesses 2 melee attack at 2 speed with 8 health and also gets the Reach Ability since the initial level of this card. With the help of this ability, this monster can attack from the second position of your lineup.
SILVER
When being upgraded to level 5, this monster gets an increased 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 8 health along with the Reach ability. With the increased melee attack and speed, it will now attack better and faster and help you kill down enemy cards faster.
GOLD
When you upgrade this card to level 8, it will get the same 3 melee attack and 8 health, but with an increased 4 speed and it also gets the Repair ability from level 6. With the Repair ability, it can now repair the broken armour of any friendly monster including itself.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when this mobster gets upgraded to the max level of 10, it possesses an increased 4 melee attack at 4 speed with 9 health along with those 2 abilities which I mentioned above. Having 4 melee attack + Repair ability will surely help you to get out of serious situations and claim victory more often.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
Well, this time I got a medium 36 mana limit match where 4 elements were allowed to choose from - Fire, Earth, Death and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Only Neutral cards, Knock Out and Trample and after looking the all the rules, I started building my strategy for this match accordingly. First of all, I chose the Legendary Earth summoner Immortalis and at my first place, I chose the Mantaroth followed by Junker, Xenith Archer, Uraeus, Venari Marksrat and Doctor Blight at the end place.
When both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had put his faith in the Legendary Death summoner Astral Entity and at his front defence, he chose Arkemis the Bear followed by Xenith Archer, Supply Runner, Uraeus, Venari Marksrat and Doctor Blight at the end position of his lineup. If you have noticed, the last 3 monsters in both the lineups were the same and we both even used Xenith Archers in our lineups. Now, let's see who actually wins this match.
MATCH PERFORMANCE
Round 1
As round 1 of the battle started, the enemy Runner and Xenith attacked my Mantaroth back to back breaking its armour and wounding it down to 10 health, followed by his Uraeus who attacked my Marksrat and also applied poison on it. Then, the enemy Bear attacked and applied Halving in my Mantaroth. But when my Xenith attacked next, it missed its target on the Bear and then my Uraeus attacked and applied poison on the enemy Marksrat. Now, it was the Junker’s turn and as expected, he repaired a portion of my Mantaroth’s armour and then attacked the Bear and took down its armour, followed by my Marksrat who also wounded the Bear. My mantaroth and both the Blights attacked and my Blight happily applied affliction in the Bear.
Round 2
When round 2 began, both the Marksrats died and gave their adjacent monsters more stats, but because of the Astral’s Resurrection ability, the enemy marksrat got alive back again. The enemy Bear and Runner attacked first on my Mantaroth, followed by the enemy Uraeus who almost killed down my Uraeus and then, the enemy Xenith again wounded my Mantaroth. Next, my Uraeus attacked and broke the armour from the enemy marksrat and then my Xenith attacked and wounded the Bear down to 2 health. My Hero, the Junker repaired the Mantaroth’s armour again, but this time he missed its attack on the bear. Next, both the Blights attacked but gladly, my Blight killed down the Bear. Then the enemy Marksrat attacked but could not do anything in my Mantaroth and at last, my Mantaroth attacked the enemy Xenith Blast damaged both it and the Supply runner almost to death and the round ended here.
Round 3
At round 3, the enemy Supply runner attacked first and wounded the Mantaroth, followed by the enemy Uraeus who killed down my Uraeus. Next, my Xenith attacked and killed down the enemy Xenith and my Junker quickly acted next and after repairing some Armour back in Manta, he attacked and killed down the Supply runner. Both the Blights attacked next and while I killed down his Uraeus, his Blight also got successful in killing my Manta.
Round 4
As you can see, by the start of round 4, the opponent’s lineup only had 2 Monsters alive including the marksrat who can't attack anymore, while I still had 3 active monsters and when the round started, My Xenith attacked first and killed down the Marksrat but it also gave the enemy Blight with more stats. My Junker attacked next but missed its target in the enemy Blight, he also attacked back, but gladly didn't apply poison on my Junker. My Blight attacked at last and applied affliction and also broke his armour and the round ended here. In the next 2 rounds, I killed that Enemy Blight easily without applying poison and thus, I won this spectacular match and earned myself some more SPS and Glint points.
