Splinterlands | First in Brawl and celebrating by opening Packs!

What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you fellow players are enjoying your day with your family and friends but don't forget to play your favorite NFT game on Hive, the Splinterlands. I am also enjoying this game on a daily basis as well and as there are only 5 days and some hours left for this ongoing ranked season to end, I am also preparing well for these upcoming days and invested a decent amount into the game to increase my SPS earning. First of all, I rented 310000 SPS from the market for 7 days and it cost me around 63000 DEC. Now this large amount of temporary staked SPS will boost my SPS earnings from every ranked win match. Next, I rented a max level Rage and also some Missing Chaos cards to strengthen my deck and now I will start playing hard for the next 2 days and also may use my glint points to buy more energy if I can find enough time to play. Currently, I am playing at the Diamond I tier and hope this raid will start earning me enough trophies to reach the Champ league ASAP so that the earnings get increased even more. Nut I have to actively play and utilize this rented SPS and cards to achieve that so let’s see how it goes.

Using Glint to buy Card Draws

With the new update in the ranked section, it has changed the whole Reward system and now we earn SPS and glint points which is the new reward token that can only be used in the newly introduced reward shop where we can buy random card draw on different rarity chances, merit points, energy, titles etc from the shop. I was saving my glint points for while and Today, I decided to draw some cards to see if I get my hands on some of the cards I am missing. So I used the Master Draw option first and draw 10 times back to back and below I have shared the outcome.

As you can see from the above screenshot, I have got some epics and gold foil commons but I already that that epic in the maxed level. The last time I used the master draw I got rewarded with multiple legendary cards and I even maxed one of my legendary cards after getting them. Now this time the luck surely didn't bring the same but it's okay, I then just moved on to the next one and bought 10 draws of the Elite Draws and now allow me To share the outcome below.

You can clearly see from the image above, that the outcome unexpectedly got better than the Master Draw and from those 10 draws, I have again got 2 epic, 5 x gold foil summoner and 2 more gold Foil rare cards and now it's clear that thou it cost me fewer glints to buy these 10 draws, I in fact earned more cards so luck factor is there in these draws and worth a try.

Brawl

Moving on, let me now talk about brawls and for those who don’t know, Brawl is another type of game play where you join a guild filled with other people and then fight other guilds as a team and the guilds scoring top win Ratio will be rewarded with SPS and Glint tokens. For me, I am an old player of the Neoxian guild and we play brawls on regular basis and hist finished playing another one. As the results got out it turned out that we earned First place once again and now we are celebrating it. Surely it is a combined effort of all the players in the guild Actively and filling all their battle Frays thanks to our guild owner Mr. Neoxian and guild officer Xawi for leading the front. As for the rewards, the guild won a total of 202 crowns and each partaker of the brawl was rewarded with 650.27 SPS and 12,120 Merit points. You can clearly see how beneficial it can be to play Brawl as you earnings will be increased if you actively play brawl and Tournament along side the ranked.

However, after collecting the rewards I went to check my total Merit points balance and found out that I had saved a little more than 25k merit already. So without wasting any more time I went to the guild shop and bought 12 gladius packs. Now let me open them all and share with you below.

As you can see, I got one legendary, 5 epics and all rest as rare and common cards and the best thing about this pull was getting those 2 Quora monsters that made me happy even than getting the legendary. Now I can finally upgrade my Quora to level 5 and if you play this game, you probably know the importance of having such an upgraded Quora. In fact, it will be better to say that All the gladius cards are important if you are playing daily actively and want to win more of course.
