Splinterlands | ANASTH SOOTHSAYER is my Favourite Rebellion Healer card
What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing play2earn game at its best! I have also come up with another splinterlands post in which I will be talking about another Rebellion edition monster but before going into that, let me share my season progress with you all. The current ranked season is already coming near its end and only around 5 days and 16 hours left for it to meet its end, so I hope every one of you is fighting with your best efforts to earn SPS and also to collect those lucrative reward chests.
For me, I am as usual fighting in the modern Champion League and somehow reached the Champ II tier today after fighting hard for a while and draining my battle mana down to 24 today. So far I have been able to collect only 39 season chests so far and feeling the need for more staked SPS in my account to boost that count. Today I got the LIFE element as my daily focus mission rule and finished playing for the day after collecting a total of 7 focus chests which I will be opening tomorrow. I am also actively participating in tournaments and brawls and would also encourage you to play as well to unlock your full earning potential. However, having another almost 6 days in hand, I think I can reach 55 - 60 season chests before the timer stops but as I am climbing up that trophy ladder, it is getting harder and harder to win against the OG players in this game. But I will keep trying and let’s see where it takes me.
Now, let us come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another awesome rebellion monster in this post and as you have already seen him in the thumbnail, today the discussion will revolve around one of the most popular healing monster, ANASTH SOOTHSAYER. So without further delay, let us begin.
ANASTH SOOTHSAYER
ANASTH SOOTHSAYER is one of the handful of healer monsters that made its way into the game with the launch of Rebellion edition cards and no doubt many people are already loving this card and using it in battles. This monster belongs to the Water element and it costs only 6 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this monster in your lineup from medium to large mana limit matches and even in small mana ones sometimes if needed. It is a rare type card and Its attack type is magic and thou it possesses only 1 attack even in its maximum level, its decent health stat along with a combo of 5 abilities makes this monster an important card to have in your collection. Now, let us take a further look into the league wise stats and abilities of this card below.
Bronze
At level 2, this monster gets 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 5 health along with 2 abilities - Cleanse and Tank Heal. It gets the Cleanse ability from its initial level with which it can remove all the negative status effects from the friendly monster at first position and on the other hand, with the Tank Heal ability that it gets at level 2 will restore up to one third health of the front monster if wounded. So even at Bronze level, this monster can help you make a defensive healing lineup that can last long in the battlefield.
Silver
When this monster gets upgraded to level 4, it gets an increased stat of 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 6 health and it also hets another new ability - Lookout from this level onwards. lookout is a new ability that came in the game with rebellion cards with the help of this ability, adjacent monsters will receive 1 less damage from enemy attackers with sneak, snipe and opportunity abilities and also, all the friendly monsters get half the damage from ambushes if this monster is alive.
Gold
If you upgrade this monster to Gold level 6, it receives 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 7 health along with another new ability - Dispel. With the help of this ability, when this monster successfully hits an enemy, it clears all positive status effects from that enemy card.
Diamond / Champion
When this card finally gets upgraded to its max level 8, it receives 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 9 health and also gets another new ability - Evade. Now with this ability, now this monster gets a 25% increased chance of evading Melee or ranged attacks.
Battle Stats
It was a large 52 mana limit battle this time and only 4 elements were active in this battle - Water, Life, Death and Dragon. There were 3 match rulesets applied in this match - Target Practice (all ranged and magic attack monsters get snipe ability), Noxious Fumes (All monsters start the battle while being poisoned) and Broken Arrow (No Range attack monsters can be used in this match).

In this match, I decided to choose the Dragon legendary summoner Lilly Shieldpaw and chose the Water element along with it. As for my battle lineup, I chose the Baakjira at my front defense followed by Daarg Deadblast, Oshuur Constantia, Chaos Dragon, Doctor Blight and the main hero Anasth Soothsayer at the end position of my lineup.
As the match was revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the legendary Life summoner Grandmaster Rathe and had chosen Mantaroth as his front defense followed by Iziar, Grimbardun Smith, Aves Strugis, Evelyn Auvera and Adelade Nrightwing at his last position.
It was a match with mostly magic monsters as I had chosen the Lilly summoner, my Anasth was at the safest position and would receive damage only after monsters stood before it died. So he will be able to provide his service with healing and cleanse ability till the end of the match. As the match started, my attackers started targeting the enemy Iziar while the enemy cards targeted my Baakjira. My Baakjira almost died by the end of round 1, but my healers worked well and revived it almost back to its normal health stance, while his Aves got dead at level 1 but got revived quickly by the Adelade anyways. I killed the lziar in round 2, but in round 5, both my Doctor Blight and Constantia got dead due to the poison effect. Luckily in the next round, the main enemy attacker Mantaroth also got dead due to the same reason. At round 6, my Daarg killed the enemy Aves and it got easier to kill down the rest enemy monsters alive while my monsters were still getting healed by the Lilly summoner and Soothsayer and finally, I won this hard match somehow.
I hope you liked reading my battle post and also loved watching the battle that I shared above. Do you also love this monster and have been using it in battles already? Let me know your thoughts about this monster in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
