Splinterlands | Rebellion sale is tomorrow!

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing web3 game in your free time. For those who haven't heard of this game yet or know about splinterlands but felt they missed the right time to enter the game, well this might be another right time because with the upcoming rebellion edition card launch and token prices finally coming out of the bear season. I am getting a feeling that the game will enter the golden phase pretty soon. The hype around the upcoming core card-set Rebellion is increasing day by day and anyone who recently watched the token prices of DEC, Vouchers or SPS will agree with me without a doubt. Many people are even selling their untamed or older edition cards to save money for the upcoming presale and if you don't know, the rebellion cards will be available to be used in the game from December onwards and simultaneously, the untamed edition cards will be excluded from the modern format because the modern format will support only cards from the last 2 core editions along with their mini edition and reward edition cards.

Anyway, I have also started saving some money to buy these amazing rebellion cards but my investment strategy is a bit different and I won't be participating in the pre-sale and would rather buy cards from the card market one by one. The long ongoing bear season has made me dry and upon that, I have also started to focus on increasing my HP and some other assets in hive. Probably when the general sale starts and high or max-level cards start getting listed for sale in the cards market, then I will start investing in them. Till then, my current investment goal in splinterlands is to complete the RW cards that I am currently missing in my collection. I have been buying those RW cards one by one for a long time by now and almost have a full collection of them at max level, but I am still missing 5 - 6 cards including the airdrop ones except Osshur Constansia, so right now I am thinking to complete my RW collection first and then thinking about the Rebel edition. I have a max collection of chaos cards including all the airdrop cards and I spent a big amount after them, but right now a max level full chaos collection only costs around 2,500$ which the bear market and other issues in the past have caused. However, I liked the fact that splinterlands learns from their mistakes and with the upcoming launch of the rebel edition card-set they proved it once again as they will be introducing amazing new mechanics to the game which will change the gameplay entirely to a whole new and unique level. So I am very hopeful with these upcoming changes and I also believe in Matt as he is realistic and thinks for the long-term growth of the project and his decisions with the rebel cards have inspired a lot of people to start looking back into this game again. So, let's now see how the rebel pre-sale performs once it goes live which is about to happen in the next 20 hours only!

Now, coming back to my stats and performance, we all know that a fresh new ranked season has already started and after taking a break to free myself from the overwork during the last ranked season, I have again started playing for this ongoing one and already completed playing for today as well. Till now, I have collected a total of 16 season chests so far and with another 12 + days in hand, I will try my best towards the goal of reaching 100 total season chests before the end of the season, though I have not been able to touch that goal in my previous seasons. Now looking at daily focus chests, today I got the flying rule as my focus mission and finished playing for today after I collected a total of 8 reward chests which I will be opening the next day.

I am also grinding hard after the soul-bound edition reward cards and I feel so glad right now because just recently, I have completed upgrading all my common reward cards to max level. Common edition cards need a total of 400 BCX single cards to be upgraded into max level but they are the most available cards to obtain from reward chests, I guess that's why I was able to max them out before other rarity-type cards. Among all those common cards, my favorite cards are Fungus Flinger, Coastal Sentry and Dumacke Orc and I would like to know your favorite ones too, so let me know in the comments below!
