SEPTIC SLIME - This new Rift attacker NEVER misses it's attack!
What’s up my fellow Splinternerds!
I hope all of you are spending an awesome day with your family and friends and hope by now, many of you have started playing into the new season of splinterlands. Yes, a new season has already started and we only have 11 days in hand before this current one ends. For me, I was still recharging my ECR till today noon but then thought to play and collect some focus trophies when it was some hours before the daily focus timer ends. However, I lost and reclaimed my position at Diamond II and also collected total 6 focus chests for today, which I am showing below in the screenshot. As usual, My ECR is back down to 60% now after playing but tomorrow I am going out of town to arrange a relative’s birthday party, so there will be plenty of time left for the ECR bar to recharge before I could start playing again.
SEPTIC SLIME
Now, let us move towards the main theme of this post as today, I am going to showcase another awesome Rift card with you all. As you have already guessed from the Thumbnail, today I will be talking about SEPTIC SLIME which I have bought recently as a max level directly from card market. It Fire demon is one of my favourite defence cards available in modern cardset. Why? Let’s find out below.
This is a Common type card that belongs to the newly launched Riftwatchers group. This monster is under Fire splinter and needs 8 mana to be used in battlefield. It possesses both the ability to destroy and defence itself from enemies with it’s brutal true strike melee attack and with a good armour + health combo.
BRONZE
On level 3, this Monster has 2 melee attack at 1 speed and 5 shield with 9 health along with the Stunt ability. This Monster needs 14 common cards to reach into the level 3 stage.
SILVER
This Monster needs 100 common cards to reach into this stage. At this stage, this Monster has 3 melee attack at 8 health with 6 shield and 1 speed along the Stunt and Heal ability. So now, this monster will have a chance to stun enemy cards and make them skip their next turn.
GOLD
This Monster needs a total of 220 common cards to reach into this stage. On this stage, this monster increases it’s overall stats towards 10 health, 6 shield,1 speed and 3 melee power along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above.
DIAMOND /CHAMP
This deadly Monster needs total 400 common cards to reach into this Max stage of upgradation. On this maximum stage, this melee monster possesses 11 health with 6 armour and 3 melee attack at 1 speed along with 3 abilities - True Strike, Heal and Stunt ability.
MARKET STATS
The Riftwatchers pack are recently launched and that's why the price of Septic Slime is still moving around $0.22\BCX or 310.232 DEC per single BCX And the other side, the price of the gold foil edition is around $2.89/BCX or a level 3 Monster.

Battle Lineup
SEPTIC SLIME
On the very first position, I placed my main defensive Monster Septic Slime and I have already wrote about this monster. In this match I will use the max level Septic to see if it can apply Stun multiple times.
SCAVO CHEMIST
On the second position, I placed my non-attacking defensive monster which has 6 health and 5 speed along with 3 abilities - Cleanse, Slow and Headwinds ability.
XENITH ARCHER
On the third position, I placed this Ranged attacking monster which has 2 ranged power at 4 speed and 5 health but no limits even in max level. But it’s only 2 mana cost for a decent range attack justifies it’s stats well.
TOWER GRIFFIN
On the fourth position of my lineup, I placed this defensive Ranged monster which has 2 ranged attack at 4 speed and 6 health along with Flying and protect abilities.
GOBLIN FIREBALLER
I placed this Ranged Monster at the fifth place of my lineup which has 2 ranged attack power at 4 speed and 4 health along with Snare and Stunt abilities in it’s max level.
SPARK PIXIES
On the last position of my lineup, I placed this Ranged attacking monster which has 3 Ranged power at 7 speed and 3 health along with 3 abilities in it’s max level - Flying, Stunt and Dodge.
BATTLE BEGINS
ROUND 1
On the very first round and after all the monsters got their abilities and disabilities, my Spark pixies attacked first and damaged Enemy front monster Baakjira and Igor darkspear. After that, the Enemy monster Kulu Swimhunter and Xenith Archer damaged my Septic Slime. But, the enemy Deeplurker missed it's attack, followed by the enemy Nymph and Igor darkspear which Damaged my Septic Slime. After that, my Chemist recovered some health of Septic Slime and my Xenith Archer also damaged enemy Baakjira. Then, my Tower Griffin damaged the enemy Baakjira and Igor darkspear and after that, my Goblin Fireballer destroyed the enemy Igor and damaged enemy Baakjira. At last, my Septic Slime finally attacked at last and Damaged enemy Baakjira and Nymph Monster.
ROUND 2
On this round, at first my Spark pixies damaged the enemy Baakjira and Nymph Monster. After that, the enemy Kullu and Xenith Archer damaged my Septic Slime but enemy Deeplurker missed it’s attack again. Next, the enemy Nymph Monster recovered some health of Baakjira again and damaged my Septic Slime, followed by my Tower Griffin damaged enemy Baakjira and Nymph Monster. Then, my Xenith Archer destroyed both Baakjira and Nymph Monster on a single shot and soon after, my Goblin Fireballer damaged the enemy Deeplurker and Kullu. At the last phase of this round, my Septic Slime attacked again and damaged Enemy Deeplurker and Kullu and the second round ended here.
ROUND 3
On the third round, at first my Spark pixies attacked and damaged the enemy Kulu and destroyed enemy Deeplurker monster. After that, my Tower Griffin destroyed the enemy Kulu Swimhunter and damaged enemy Xenith Archer. Next, my Xenith Archer and Goblin Fireballer attacked together a d finally destroyed the enemy last monster Xenith Archer left on the opponent’s lineup.
I really liked my this new card addition to the playing collection as in especially reversed speed ruleset, this monster is a master piece in killing enemy monsters but don't forget that with True Strike ability, it wont miss it’s attack even against speediest enemies. And past but not least, with it’s Heal ability, it will also stay alive for longer than many other non healing defensive monsters, so overall, it’s a great common card for medium to high mana limit matches.
Do you also like this awesome legendary death chaos monster and use it in your lineups? Or you prefer other monsters over this one and why? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post!
Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
