What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and also hustling well in Splinterlands. Well, the time is passing by and we have already come at the middle of this ongoing Splinterlands season and only 7 days left in our hand before the season timer hits zero. I hope all of you are battling with your best and climbing the ranked leaderboard towards your goal and also partaking in tournaments and brawl matches. For me, after a lot of hurdles I finally managed to enter Diamond I tier today and currently left with 70%+ ECR left after I stopped playing.

As you can see from the screenshot, I have shared my last daily focus rewards outcome above which I opened today. In this last focus mission which was on BUFF ruleset, I played and collected total 6 chests and got 2 common cards, 17.2 SPS and about 536 merits but surprisingly no potions this time. Today, I went even further and collected 8 focus chests as I got one of my favourite Water ruleset. About season chests, I have collected 21 chests far and trying to reach up there in Champ tier as soon as possible so that I can earn more reward points per win.

Now, let me jump straight into the main theme of this post as today, I am going to showcase another awesome Riftwatchers monster RUNESLINGER with you all.

RUNESLINGER

image.png

RUNESLINGER is a rare type card that recently joined the splinterlands with the Rift edition cardset. This monster belongs to the Life splinter and it needs 5 mana to be used in battles and its attack type is ranged. Now, let us look into it’s tier wise stats and abilities.

Bronze

This card is definitely a useful asset even at bronze level mainly because of it’s high spped, large health and stunning capability. At level 2, it possesses 1 ranged attack at 4 speed with 6 health along with the stun ability that it gets from it’s initial level.

Silver

This card even gets more buffed up with more firepower and the affliction ability at silver tier. At level 4, it possesses 2 range attack at 4 speed with 6 health along with 2 abilities - Stun and Affliction.

Gold

The health of this monster gets even bigger at Gold tier where it can defence multiple shots before going down. At level6, it gets 2 ranged attack at 4 speed with 8 health along with 2 abilities - Stun and Affliction.

Diamond / Champ

This monster gets another ability Cripple from 9th level which will help you to weaken the enemy card’s max heath count every time it hits the target. At level 20, it gets 3 ranged attack at 4 speed with 8 health along with those 3 abilities that I mentioned above.

Market Stat

As it is a new edition rift card that got launched just recently, even in bear market it’s maintaining a good price and currently selling for 0.32-0.34$ per BCX. The gold foul NCXs are starting from 2.83$ per BCX but there is a max level 22 BCX available just for 56$.

Battle Lineup

image.png

URIEL THE PURIFIER

I chose the mighty legendary life card Uriel which costs a whopping 11 mana but it’s buffed ip defensive stats and abilities are really unmatched in high mana battles. I used a level 4 in here and it has 4 melee attack at 3 speed with 6 armour and 12 health along with 4 abilities - Flying, Recharge, Heal and Redemption.

image.png

CARNAGE TITAN

At the second position of my lineup, I chose the best Reach monster in town, the Carnage Titan and it’s large armour + health combo with shield ability will definitely withstand multiple attacks. I used a level 4 and it has 4 melee attack at 3 speed with 7 armour and 8 health along with shield ability.

image.png

CORSAIR BOSUN

I chose the man of the seas, corsair Bosun at the third place of my lineup mainly because of it’s high stats and cleanse + reflection shield ability. I am using a level 8 in here and it has 6 melee attack at 3 speed with 5 armour and 9 health along with 3 abilities - Reach, Reflection Shield and Cleanse.

image.png

RUNESLINGER

I placed my main showcased monster, the Runeslinger at the fourth position of my lineup and chose this mainly because of it’s stun + Affliction ability which will make the enemy minsters weak and numb. I am using a level 8 in here and it has 3 ranged attack at 4 speed with 8 health and 3 abilities at max level - Affliction, Stun and Cripple.

image.png

CHAOS KNIGHT

To increase all of my melee monster’s attack power, I chose the Chaos Knight at the fifth position of my lineup. I used a level 10 in here and it has 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 5 armour and 6 health along with 3 abilities - Shield, Giant Killer and Inspire.

image.png

JARED SCAR

At the last position of my lineup, I chose my wild card a max level Jared Scar mainly because of it’s Bloodlust + Piercing deadly combo that can finish enemy cards in one shot and also increase all of it’s stats every time it kills one. I am using a level 4 in here and it has 7 melee attack at 2 speed with 2 armour and 6 health along with 3 abilities - Bloodlust, True Strike and Piercing ability.

Battle Talk

As the match got revealed, I find out that my opponent is also using big defensive Life cards but while I chose the Quix dragon summoner, he went after the legendary life summoner Rathe. But l, while I was using all melee monsters except the Runeslinger in order to take advantage of the All opportunity ruleset, my opponent chose 2 deadly snipers along with 2 main melee attackers Shieldbearer and Jared Scar, the Brightwing and the truthspeaker to defend and cleanse it’s monsters.

image.png

As the match continues, in the first round my Runesligner attacked the enemy Shieldbearer and damaged it’s shield and also applied Affliction and Stun upon him! That’s a pure performance by this awesome rift monster as it chocked one of the main enemy attackers for a round. But unfortunately, as it was my only non melee monster in the lineup, both of the enemy sniper monsters attacked upon it back to back and killed it in first round.

But on the bright side, my melee attackers got saved from those 2 deadly attacks and as the match continues, I got my Jared Scar activated it’s Bloodlust ability multiple times and it was unstoppable at the end. Thus I killed all the monsters and finally won the match.

Do you also like this awesome Rare Life Rift monster! Do you also use it in your lineups or you prefer other monsters over this one and why? Let me know in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post!

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
