My Financial Goals on Hive Chain and recent progress

Hello Readers,

It is very important to set financial goals in life and consistently track our progress to reach that goal in time. Today’s world is full of attraction and without a clear set of objectives, it is easy to lose direction, get distracted and make poor financial decisions, which may lead to significant consequences. This is particularly even more true in the crypto world, where we see new and so-called attractive projects constantly emerging each new day and tempting us to invest either money or time or even both in some cases (like playing games or doing daily tasks etc). However, from my years of experience in this world, I have learned the hard way that not everything that glitters is gold. After having 6+ years of experience in this wild realm and a few costly mistakes, I have learned to be selective and nowadays, I focus only on trustworthy projects that provide real value to their users or build something actually valuable, rather than getting lured by eye-catching advertisements or false promises of unbelievable returns.

As a full-time crypto blogger and hustler, I am totally in this world and also running my family from the earnings that I make by writing blogs or playing games and as we all know how volatile this world is, I used to feel the need for security, so that when the bear season comes in or when my earnings get down for months, I can still survive the season. For this reason, some weeks earlier, I set some financial goals for myself and have been strictly following my plan. For someone like me who is fully devoted to this wild crypto world, I only rely on crypto earnings currently for my livelihood. Sadly, my primary income source is writing blogs on the Inleo platform right now, as play-to-earn games like Splinterlands no longer pay good returns like before, not to mention its economy has been affected badly as well. In order to stabilize my earnings, I have become more active in blogging and nowadays I write blogs regularly and rarely miss a day. Additionally, I also realized the importance of saving and investing, because as a human we can only earn limited money for our efforts, but if we invest well and make money work for us, there is no limit on how much we can earn. So I have started saving a large portion of my crypto earnings to ensure long-term growth. About two months ago, I set three financial goals for myself - to build a significant amount of Hive Power, HBD savings and LEO Power. So in this post, allow me to take a look into each of these and find out how much I have saved since my last Finance post which I published 13 days ago. So without any further ado, let's jump right in.

Hive Power

First, let us talk about Hive Power. As of my last financial goal post which I published 12 days ago, I had a total of 12,064 Hive Power in my account. Today, I am very happy to share that I am currently standing at a total of 12,403.97 Hive Power. This means I made an increase of 339 Hive Power in just these last 12 days, which is incredibly motivating to me. With the price of Hive that recently is trading around 0.21$ per unit, we earning less HBD comparatively, but I think we are earning a little more in terms of Hive Power as author payouts. This makes it a very good time to grow Hive Power for those who are interested.

HBD Savings

Moving on, my second focus is on HBD savings. From experience, I have learned the importance of keeping a portion of crypto assets in stablecoins, so that we can remain alive when a bad dip hits us and stays for long. During bearish crypto seasons, such as the one we have experienced for a long time recently, stablecoins like HBD provide reliable support, since their price is pegged to USD and they maintain their value way better than other tokens. Additionally, if you choose to invest, HBD offers a flat 20% annual interest and paid monthly, which is an excellent source of passive income with minimal risk. In my last post, I had 1,800 HBD in my savings wallet and generated rewards. But recently, I had to convert some HBD to Fiat to cover my family expenses. Right now as we talk, I have a total of 1615.562 HBD in my savings wallet and so far, it has earned me 10 HBD in the last 11 days. Anyway, right now I am focusing on accumulating liquid Hive so that when the Hive price rises, I can sell Hive for HBD and book a decent profit while pouring more HBD that I would get into the savings account.

LEO Power

Last but not least, I am also focusing on building my LEO Power, as it is my favorite project token with a lot of potential in the Hive chain. I am aiming to reach 15,000 LEO Power to achieve the glorious Lion status on the InLeo platform one day. Currently, I have a total of 11,150 LEO Power in my account and right now, I am saving all my LEO token earnings to the stake during the upcoming LPUD event on August 15th. So far, I have accumulated 52.9 LEO from author and curation rewards, which I will stake on the next LPUD. Additionally, I am also trying to actively engage on the InLeo platform, as it offers substantial LEO and Hive earnings for posting threads and blogs and interacting with other people Just like we do on Twitter or Facebook. Being active on this platform certainly increases your chances of getting noticed and curated both by the official Inleo account and other users. I would recommend you all focus on the threads section, especially threadcasts for both enjoyable interactions and frequent and probably bigger rewards.

I hope you liked reading my financial goal post. Have you also set some goals in your life, if yes then please in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post. Take care ❤️
