Buying some max level Riftwatchers cards at dirt cheap rate!

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are having an amazing day with your family and friends and also enjoying this game on daily basis. Most probably by now, you have opened your season reward chests and booked your rewards and if not yet, the clock is clicking my friend and you don't wanna be late to perform for this season right! So, what are you waiting for? For me, I also claimed my stash and in the last season, I changed my strategy a bit and instead of fighting in champ league for better reward chests, I chose to stay in the Diamond league and fight for the top leaderboard positions. I was not so sure if I will be able to secure a good place in the lb because not only the champ league is filled with killer OG players, but some of them are in diamond league too and fighting at the top is always hard and requires both a large set of cards and a unbreakable strategy every time to lose them. However, the risk I took by sacrificing champ level rewards was finally fruitful as just before the season end, I somehow managed to secure the second place in the Diamond lb and got rewarded with 80k dec as my leaderboard prize which values around 69$ right now. I was so happy with the results and it was after a long time that I actually placed myself in a leaderboard position and won something from the lb prize pool. But not only that, I also collected a total of 82 season reward chests as well which I opened just after the season end and got rewarded with 5 chaos packs, 452.75 SPS and a lot of awesome soul bound reward cards as shown below.

No doubt, as I am buying more and more max level cards and adding them into my collection, my performance in the game is also boosting up and helping me grab more and better rewards. But there’s still a lot of modern cards left in my collection which I am missing right now, especially the new Riftwatchers mini edition cards. There are total 38 core Riftwatchers cards that got launched and also 6 airdrop cards among which, 3 cards are already dropped and can be bought in market of you haven't got them from the drop. For me, I am certainly not a pack opener guy and rather my strategy is to find good deals on max level cards in the market and buy them one by one. The last season, for some reason, I saw the market suddenly got filled with a good number of max level Rift cards and the prices upon them were also attractive. I still had about 9 core cards and 2 airdrop cards left to be added in my collection and I have been saving money to buy these remaining ones for some time now, but haven't tried to buy because of their high price. But, suddenly seeing some lucratively deals on them while browsing the market, I thought this maybe the right time to bag them in before someone else buy them out.

So, as I decided, I accumulated around 300$ in hive by selling some of my non splinterlands assets and by converting some of my HBD and I was all ready with a decent chunk of money to buy as more of those missing rift cards as possible. At first, I bought credits with my hive stash and then bought total 7 rift cards with the credits. As usual I used the monstermarket.io 3rd party market to purchase the cards and in fact, their 3% instant dec cashback helped me to buy the last card, so a shout out to them for helping me out! Now, let me share the first and favourite 3 cards among them I bought at below and hopefully will share the rest in my next post.

LEMELL REFUGEE

The first card that I bought is the Lemell Refugee, a common cards from the water splinter and it costed me only 26.5$ to buy the maxxed out card (400 bcx) from market. This card needs 7 mana to be used in battles and holds 4 melee attack at 4 speed with 4 armour and 9 health at max level along with 2 awesome abilities - Void Armour and Enrage. This card is very effective against magic attacks and can also deal serious damage when wounded and for buying this card, I received 955.8 dec as cashback from the site.

COASTAL NYMPH

The second card that I bought is the Coastal Nymph and I believe it to be one of the best cards in water splinter. It is also a common card that costs 9 mana to be used in battles and it possesses 5 ranged attack at 4 speed with 4 armour and 8 health along with 2 abilities - Scattershot and Affliction at it’s max level. This card’s high ranged attack with a good defensive armour + health combo is really useful in battle and I was fortunate enough to grab a good deal on this one and bought the max level (400 bcx) for only 40$ and got 1442.46 dec as cashback this time.

SEA STALKER

The third card that I bought is the Sea Stalker and just like the Coastal Nymph, this monster also provides high ranged attack with defensive abilities and I hope this to be as useful as well. This is a rare monster card that possesses 5 ranged attack at 3 speed with 7 health along with 4 abilities - Sniper, Camouflage, Cleanse and Amplify at it’s max level. I bought this max level card for 52$ and for using the monstermarket.io website, this time I received 1875.67 dec and with buying this card, gladly, I completed getting all the water rift cards into my account.
