Building My Financial Wealth on Hive Blockchain

Hello readers,

I hope all of you are having an amazing day filled with positivity and spending quality time with your family and friends. If you are here, you are most probably a Hive user like me. If so, then congratulations my friend, as You are part of a 'one of a kind' exciting community, and if you have been paying attention, you might have noticed that the Hive token’s price has been making some interesting moves lately. Hive was stuck around $0.16 for a long time, but recently it surged up to its recent all-time high of $0.23. Though it has again gone down to 0.20$ price market and is currently being traded for around $0.195, it is making a gradual uptrend while refusing to go down anymore. Now who knows? Maybe we will see it rise even further soon!

But enough about the price now, as today I want to talk about my personal journey building wealth on the Hive blockchain. As a daily user and strong believer, I have been building my portfolio on the Hive blockchain for a long time and today in this post, I am going to share how I am tracking my financial progress, focusing on three main assets: Hive Power (HP), Hive Backed Dollar (HBD) and Leo Power (LP). So if you are interested in how you can grow your portfolio on Hive, let us jump right in without any further ado.

Hive Power (HP)

First of all, let us talk about Hive Power (HP), which of course is the heart of my wealth building journey on Hive and I believe it is the main key to long-term success on the platform. When you stake Hive to get Hive Power, not only do you earn curation rewards by voting on content, but you also increase your influence and even get a say in important decisions through decentralized witness and proposal voting. So, if you believe in the Hive ecosystem and want to contribute to the community while increasing your crypto balance and also earning from it, building Hive Power should be one of your top goals. What makes Hive special is that it rewards its users for contributing to the platform. Whether you are blogging, voting or just engaging with others via comments or threads, you can earn cryptocurrency for your efforts! Personally, I have been steadily growing my Hive Power without “powering down” (which means I haven’t withdrawn any of my earned Hive power) for a long time. Just last week, I reached 14,385 HP, and today when I checked, I saw that I have accumulated a total of 14,647 HP. That is a whopping increase of around 262 HP in just seven days! My current goal is to hit 15,000 HP as soon as possible, and while it is a slow journey, every little step is important as it brings me closer to my goal. It is like a marathon, not a sprint!

Hive Backed Dollar (HBD)

Next, let us take a look at Hive Backed Dollar (HBD) and for those who don't know, HBD is Hive’s own stablecoin. HBD is softly pegged to the US dollar, so it stays relatively stable in value. Every time I earn author rewards on Hive (through blogging or posting commons or threads), half of the reward amount is paid in HP and the other half in HBD. The cool thing about HBD is the 15% annual interest that you can earn just by keeping it in savings. That’s right, you get paid interest every month for locking your HBD in the Savings wallet, without taking any risk! Last week, I had 1,213.512 HBD saved up, but I had to use some of it, so now I am left with around 790 HBD in my savings and around 235 HBD in liquid form, which I am thinking of converting into Hive. Even though my HBD balance dipped, I still earned 9.118 HBD in interest over the past 21 days, which will be added to my savings soon. My long-term goal is to accumulate 3,000 HBD, and though it is a pretty big number, I am confident I can reach it if I keep saving and earning consistently.

Leo Power (LP)

Last but not least, let us talk about Leo Power (LP). Leo is the only token for the LeoFinance platform, a social media platform built on Hive blockchain Just like Hive Power, you can stake Leo tokens to earn rewards through curation. I have been an active member of the Leo community and have watched it grow from a small finance niche to a vibrant web3 social media ecosystem, so I strongly believe in this project and that’s why a portion of my Portfolio consists of Leo tokens. Last month, I powered up 206+ Leo tokens and brought my total amount to 11,506 staked Leo. Since then, I have earned an additional 134.73 Leo through my author and curation rewards. Anyway, my goal is to reach a total of 15,000 staked Leo, and while it might still take a long time, I am in it for the long haul.

Building wealth on Hive has been a fulfilling experience for me, not just in terms of financial growth but also the knowledge and experience that I have gained. Hive is more than just a blockchain; it is a community-centric platform that empowers users to create, engage and grow their wealth over time. Whether you are staking HP, saving HBD or accumulating Leo tokens or participating in different active projects, there are countless opportunities to secure your financial future here.

I hope you liked reading my post and if this post has brought you even a little bit of motivation, I will be very happy. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

I miss the days when the blockchain pays 20%
On HBD savings.
But 15% is still ok.

Do you still have the link for those old leofinance charts? or are you generating them on your own?
