13 Gladius chests opening | Playing in Champ tier is hard

What’s up my fellow splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are spending and awesome day and also enjoying this spectacular game in your free time. Well, we have come almost near the season with only 4 days in hand for it to end. But for me, since I reached in Champ tier last night, I am losing way more now than before. Today while playing ranked matches, I even came down to Diamond I for some tome but finally climbed up into Champ again and stopped playing. No doubt that my newly bought cards are doing pretty well but there’s still a long list of summoners and monsters that I am missing which is affecting my win ratio. But over time as I am buying max cards and adding into my playing collection, my playing is also getting improved and at least now I can stay and battle in Champ without much hard work.

Latest Activity

Now, taking about my daily focus activities, I finished my latest daily focus mission with 14 focus chests which I have already opened and shared the outcome above. I didn’t get any jaw dropping rewards but those small pouches of SPS really adds up in long term. I also received 1 chaos pack, 1 rare and 2 common cards and a bunch of merits and legendary potions as well. I started the last focus mission while in Diamond I and this explains why I received weak rewards today even after opening 14 focus chests in a row. But hopefully from now on the focus chests will be counted as champ level and will possible have better rewards than Diamond.. so let’s see if I get better rewards tomorrow. I have already started playing for the current focus also in which i have got the Flying ruleset as my focus mission. I have already collected total 35 Season reward chests till now and 6 chests for today’s focus but wont play anymore because the ECR is in a real bad shape right now.

Gladius packs openings

I am back again in the Guild of Neoxian and also started playing Brawls recently and have played and won 2 brawls back to back and received sweet amount of SPS rewards which is helping me build my collection. Thanks to our guild officer xawi who is really helping me out with brawls and without her these winning would have been impossible. However, after the end of the last brawl, I checked my guild store page and found out I have saved more than 30,000 MERITS! So, without wasting anymore time I bought 13 gladius packs and 65 gold potions and opened them right away. Below I shared the outcome of the 13 Gladius packs.

As you can see, thou I haven't received any Legendary cards, I got 2 epic cards and 2 gold foil rares along with rest rare and common gladius cards. It seems the gold potions for gladius packs have worked well as I received 2 gf commons but I have to collect more merits and open more packs in order to upgrade my gladius cards to Gold tier fast.

Tournament activity

I have also started playing modern format gold and diamond tier tournaments as my modern format deck is much powerful now than before. Gladly, I have secured top places in 2 tournaments recently and got rewarded with 65 SPS for securing 7th place in the first one while 108 SPS for the second one for securing 48th place. But I am really happy with the fact that now my playing account is worthy enough now to participate and actually win something from tournaments, as this is an elite place to earn big bucks in Splinterlands. This also certainly boosts my feelings to fill my deck with more worthy cards to perform even better in future.
