Hello beautiful people, first off I want to say a big thank you to the community for this amazing initiative, shout out to
@Afritunes.
I'm super excited to be sharing with you here... This is my first time here and I do know it won't be the last. I'm really excited about this week, it's all about paying tribute to Africa and it's music. I a Nigerian

Today, I'd be sharing a Hausa song titled Adua which translates prayers by Minister K.I, I added a little bit of Yoruba at the tail end though.

Thanks for taking out time to listen, I hope you all enjoy it. Feel free to leave a comment, I'd really love to hear from you.

Hola, hermosa gente,

I knew this song was a Hausa song but when I started hearing some Yoruba pronunciation I had to read the write up.
I don’t know you’re quite fluent in Hausa.
This song is very interesting to listening to me.
the song came out well and I love the edit you did at the beginning. Coming up with the subtitles must have been so much work

Keep up the good work

Lol
Don't mind me oo, I decided to mix it up a little bit and add some Yoruba to it, being able to articulate the sentence in Yoruba and make it flow on beat was something else.
😅

Well,I can have conversations fluently in Hausa. Kaduna born and raised no be beans.

Yay, I'm glad you noticed the edit. Yeah, it was an interesting one editing the lyrics to match the timing of the song, to stay for as long as the words are being pronounced but I'm glad it came out nicely.

Thank you so much for the kind words Big Fash, I really appreciate it and don't take it for granted.
