En Candelaria, el pequeño pueblo donde vivo, nunca ha habido costumbre de hacer fiestas o ferias por esta fecha. Me sorprendió que esta vez sí hubiera una y motivada por la curiosidad me fui a caminar por el parque donde me habían dicho que estaban los kioscos.

¡Qué bonito todo!, ¡qué coloridos cada uno de los pequeños stands donde se exhibían todo tipo de artículos fundamentalmente confeccionados por artesanos de nuestra localidad y de otras aledañas! Las personas allí estaban muy motivadas por adquirir sobre todo adornos de Navidad. A mí también me interesaba adquirir algo nuevo para mí arbolito de Navidad, pero a decir verdad no llevé mucho presupuesto y todo estaba muy caro.

Qué sorpresa me llevé al ver a dos amigas con sus pequeños kioscos vendiendo sus propias manualidades, unas hechas a partir de tejidos y las otras de papel, cartón y materiales reciclados. Son artículos muy bonitos y originales. Ambas se sintieron muy motivadas cuando les hice fotos y les conté en el proyecto en que estaba. Es decir, Hive. Es que como mujeres retiradas hemos buscado ocuparnos en algo útil a la sociedad y no perder el tiempo, eso también nos sirve para estar entretenidas y felices por lo que hacemos. Pienso que fue una idea muy acertada el haber hecho esta feria en este mes de Diciembre.

Seguí mi recorrido pues había también espacio para los más pequeños de casa mientras los mayores recorrían la feria, y también vi un tatuador. Este tenía amplia demanda pues a los niños les gusta imitar a los mayores y el tatuaje se usa mucho hoy en día. Un niño me sirvió de modelo. Posó para mí para que pudiera fotografiar su tatuaje.

They are very nice and original items. They both felt very motivated when I took pictures of them and told them about the project I was in. That is Hive. As pensioned women we have tried to do something useful for society and not waste time, that also helps us to be entertained and happy for what we do. I think it was a very good idea to have made this fair in the month of December.

I continued my tour because there was also space for the little ones at home while the older ones went around the fair, and I also saw a tattoo artist. This one was in great demand because children like to imitate their elders and tattooing is very popular nowadays. One boy served as a model for me. He posed for me so I could photograph his tattoo.
