[ENG]|[ESP] City photography in San Cristobal Venezuela
Hello friends in the hive community, I hope you have a nice day.
As many already know, I love taking photos of the city, I have always liked this style of "street photography" and it fills me with happiness when I share these photos and people who are outside the country tell me that thanks to these photos they were able to see and remember their hometown, the city that saw them grow up.
I always say it and I repeat it again, I LOVE how my city is surrounded by a lot of green, we have a lot of nature and very clean air.
When I compare this city with other big cities in the world, I feel that we are still in the year 1990 or 2000....
Fortunately my city is quite calm and we can still see many people walking in the streets.
And this was my favorite shot of the day:
A little zoom:
Un poco de zoom:
In this style of photography I like to focus on the city more than on the people, the daily life that is lived within the city and its landscapes.
All these photos were taken in San Cristobal, Tachira state in Venezuela.

I think is a nice city to live in, food is cheap too
cheep food is nice for sure
Excellent shots for this beautiful place. I like the sense of motion and rhythm. The lushness of the environment is fantastic. The mountains in the distance kind of remind me of Vancouver, but your mountains look closer and have richer detail. Also seeing the lives of people as they go about their business is really neat. It gives one a sense of the cultural landscape. Cool!
We actually live on tthe mountains haha
Hah. That's awesome! 😆
Your city is indeed surrounded by a lot of green - beautiful and healthy. I like the hills in the background. Nice photos.
i love that green too!
What beautiful photos of San Cristobal, how good to be able to meet him even if it is in photos and as well taken as the ones you show us here, thanks for sharing
Thanks my friend!
Definitely some great shots here man! I love the city you are in as well, it’s a good combination of city with close proximity to areas that are more wild.
Cities that have a lot of greenery are often times much healthier, less crime and cleaner than the ones that don’t have it. It’s also a lot cooler with those big trees sheltering things around it and reducing the heat island effect. I just learned about the heat island effect recently and it’s quite fascinating but with our paved streets and buildings, they absorb and retain a lot of heat that increases overall temperatures. More trees and grass reduces that heat and it feels better.
Thanks for sharing these great photos!
Yay! 🤗
