A cappuccino at the Emporium in Guarenas

Today, November 20th of this year, I decided to have a coffee to recharge all my energies, after a long day of work, household chores and between the deligences of the materials and supplies that my mom needs for her severe bilateral venous insufficiency operation, which she will need for this Friday 22nd.

Let me tell you that I needed this dose of adrenaline, of my favorite coffee as it is the cappuccino, although I also love others, but this one makes me balance my whole being and give me back my composure.

After preparing my daughter Valery's breakfast, I prepared my negrito as usual, took my morning dose, then took her to school. On my way back, I set out to make breakfast for my mom, Jose and myself; although lately I am losing my appetite and I am eating out of obligation, not because I am hungry, I don't know why.

Once all this was done, I set out to do the house things, make lunch and finally get ready to take my daughter's lunch to school, since today Wednesday is a hard day, because she has a class from 7:00am to 3:50pm; it is a very hard jog, that preparing myself psychologically, I do not give up, I need something to keep me awake and make me revive.

Therefore, I decided at the end of the afternoon to give myself that treat, I think I deserve it, stress seems to be doing its thing, but my coffee defends me and gives me strength to move forward, taking one step at a time in the hard times I am going through.

I went to the Emporium supermarket, there is a coffee shop at the entrance on the left hand side, I asked for the cappuccino and they told me that it cost 80.23 bs, which is 1 dollar and something. I think the price is in line with the place and the comfort.

I ordered my coffee at the cashier, then I sat at a table facing the street, my back was to San Nicolas.... Hehehehe... Well, here in Venezuela we are already in Christmas... A complete madness...

The truth is, that I sat down and I was ready to savor and taste my coffee... They say that the best is near you... So says the slogan of the Supermarket El Emporium and I assimilated this slogan with my coffee.... Actually it's like that, my coffee is the best and it was close to me...

This dose of coffee and chocolate is a perfect combination, it made me feel good when I took my first sip, it made me smile between so many ups and downs and tears; I know that it is my companion on my journey and to face hard times?

My coffee is my faithful companion, that is why it accompanies me wherever I go? Each sip shakes me and stirs my being, so that I come back to life...

Un capuchino en el Emporium de Guarenas

Hoy 20 de noviembre del presente año, me dispuse a tomarme un café para recargar todas mis energías, después de un largo día de trabajo, quehaceres del hogar y entre deligencias de los materiales e insumos que necesita mi mamá para su operación de insuficiencia venosa bilateral severa, que va a necesitar para este viernes 22.

Déjenme decirles que necesitaba esta dosis de adrenalina, de mi café favorito como lo es el capuchino, aunque otros también me encantan, pero este me hace equilibrar todo mi ser y devolverme mi compostura.

Después de preparar el desayuno de mi hija Valery, prepare mi negrito como de costumbre, me tomé mi dosis matutina, luego la llevé al colegio. De regreso, me dispuse hacer el desayuno de mi mamá, José y el mío; aunque últimamente estoy perdiendo el apetito y estoy comiendo por obligación, no porque me da hambre, no se a que se debe.

Una vez hecho todo esto, me dispuse hacer las cosas de la casa, hacer el almuerzo y por último alistarme para llevarle el almuerzo a mi hija al colegio, ya que hoy miércoles es un día fuerte, debido a que tiene clase de corrido desde las 7:00am hasta las 3:50pm; es un trote muy duro, que preparándome psicológicamente, no rindo, necesito algo que me mantenga despierta y me haga revivir.

Por ello, decidí al final de la tardecita darme ese gusto, creo que me lo merezco, el estrés parece que está haciendo de las suyas, pero mi café me defiende y da fuerzas para seguir adelante, dando paso a paso en los duros momentos que atravieso.

Me fui al supermercado el Emporium, allí está una cafeteria en la entrada a mano izquierda, pregunte por el capuchino y me dijeron que salía en 80,23 bs, que viene siendo 1 dólar y algo. Creo que su precio está acorde al lugar y al confort.

Pedí mi café en caja, luego me senté en una mesa dando para la calle, me tocó de espalda San Nicolás... Jejeje... Pues, ya aquí en Venezuela estamos en Navidad... Una completa locura...

Lo cierto es, que me senté y me dispuse a saborear y degustar a mi café... Dicen que lo mejor está cerca de ti... Así dice el lema del Supermercado El Emporium y ese lema lo asimile con mi café.... En realidad es así, mi café es lo mejor y estaba cerca de mi...

Está dosis de café y chocolate es una combinación perfecta, me hizo sentir bien al tomar mi primer sorbo, me sacó una sonrisa entre tantos altibajos y lágrimas; sé que es mi compañero de travesía y de afrontar duras penas...

Mi café es mi compañero fiel, por eso me acompaña a donde quiera que vaya... Cada sorbo me zarandea y remueve mi ser, para que vuelva a la vida...
