Hello friends of Hive Open Mic, today I am very happy and above all grateful that you have chosen me as artist of the week, for the occasion I decided to choose a theme from the movie Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, in it I will recreate the scene in which Sweeney returns to London and is reunited with his old razors, he is full of anger and resentment for having been exiled for so many years, he hates the judge Turping for having condemned him and only wishes to meet him (meeting in which his razor will be useful).

Hola amigos de Hive Open Mic, hoy estoy muy feliz y sobre todo agradecida de que me hayan elegido como artista de la semana, para la ocasión decidí elegir un tema de la película Sweeney Todd, el Barbero demoniaco de la calle Fleet, en él recrearé la escena en la que Sweeney regresa a Londres y se reencuentra con sus viejas navajas de afeitar, él está lleno de ira y rencor por haber sido exiliado por tantos años, odia al juez Turping por haberlo condenado y solo desea encontrase con él (encuentro en el que su navaja le será útil)

On the other hand, Mrs. Lovitt (The second voice that you can hear in the middle of the song) receives Todd in her house, she is in love with him and only wants him to love her too, so she will not hesitate to help him in his plans for revenge.

Por otra parte la señora Lovitt (La segunda voz que pueden oír a mitad de la canción) recibe a Todd en su casa, ella está enamorada de él y solo desea que él también la ame, así que no dudará en ayudarlo en sus planes de venganza.

Hermana, no imaginas lo sorprendido que he quedado con tu participación, y es por diversos motivos... Primero quiero agradecerte que trajeras esta temática a la comunidad, es distinta a lo que generalmente hacemos y eso me emociona mucho. Pensé que solo yo conocía este musical jajaja, este tipo de películas y música no es para todo el mundo, pero viniendo de ti que prácticamente tenemos los mismos gustos musicales me agrada descubrir a un alma gemela en gustos, ya oficialmente 🤣

Lo que has hecho con la edición del video es extraordinario. Se nota que te gusta el cine y me da la impresión que la actuación también. He percibido de ti que eres una persona muy artística, te encanta incursionar en todo, que grato es conocerte. I'm really glad you liked it, it's something I did from the heart. Yes, Sweeny Todd is one of my favourite films, not only because of its dark and deep story, but because it condenses the best actors (at least in my opinion) being my favourites Johnny Depp, Helena Bohan Carter and of course Alan Rickman.

Certainly this kind of musical is not for all tastes but fortunately we have the same tastes, and I also LOVE cinema, in fact some time ago I took some acting classes 😊

I'm glad you also liked video editing, that's another thing I'm passionate about, and in fact I've had to practice quite a lot since I have two youtube channels, so there's no choice but to learn, practice and keep trying to improve every day.

Me alegra mucho que te haya gustado, es algo que hice con el corazón. Sí, Sweeny Todd es una de mis películas favoritas, no solo por su historia tan sombría y profunda, sino porque condensa a los mejores actores (al menos en mi opinión) siendo mis favoritos Johnny Depp, Helena Bohan Carter y desde luego Alan Rickman.

Ciertamente este tipo de musical no es para todos los gustos pero afortunadamente tenemos los mismos gustos, y también AMO el cine, de hecho hace tiempo recibí algunas clases de actuación 😊

Me alegra que también te haya gustado la edición de video, esa es otra de las cosas que me apasiona, y de hecho he tenido que practicar bastante ya que tengo dos canales de youtube, entonces no queda más remedio que aprender, practicar y seguir intentando mejorar cada día.

Amiga, que interpretación tan increible. Me encanta este tipo de género que mezcla estilos entre Cabaret, Music Hall y Opera caracterizado por su sátira, su humor negro y su música contagiosa y atráctiva. Gracias por recordarnos esta pelicula. Siempre me ha encantado ese estilo de peliculas musicales. Te felicito por tu presentación encantadora, excepcional y original.

I love this type of genre that mixes styles between Cabaret, Music Hall, and Opera characterized by its satire, its black humor, and its contagious and attractive music. A mi a pesar de que me encanta el cine, no me gustan mucho los musicales, sin embargo con Sweeny Todd hago una excepción, me encanta su estilo gótico, se nota que detrás estuvo la mano de Tim Burton.

Que comentario más bonito, muchísimas gracias 😊 de verdad me alegra que les haya gustado, a mi también me encantan los trabajos de Johnny Depp, sobre todo cuando son junto a Tim Burton como es en este caso. jaja sí, me encanta entrar en personaje y sentir la canción, en especial cuando se trata de un musical, Sweeney Todd perdió su rumbo desde que el juez Turpin lo desterró, así que llegó a perfeccionar la técnica para tomar venganza, y eso fue lo que quise transmitir, me alegra que lo hayas percibido, gracias de nuevo por tus hermosas palabras y por tus felicitaciones 😊 te mando bendiciones 😉

Yes, it's good to remember friends and recognise their courage, but in this case Sweeney was unhinged and his friends were razor blades, he wants revenge. I edited the video myself to make it look like an extract from the film.
