Mis Outfits playeros (ESP/ENG)

Para nadie es un secreto que las mujeres venezolanas nos caracterizamos por nuestro estilo y glamour al vestir, nos gusta estar muy bien arregladas en todo momento y desde luego que la playa no es la excepción, es algo cultural, nos gusta lucir accesorios que combinen con nuestros trajes de baño o simplemente que estos tengan diseños que resalten y nos hagan lucir bien, así que hoy he preparado una selección de trajes de baño y atuendos que me gusta lucir cuando voy a la playa.

It's no secret that Venezuelan women are known for our style and glamour when we dress, we like to be well groomed at all times and of course the beach is no exception, it's a cultural thing, we like to wear accessories that match our swimming costumes or simply that these have designs that stand out and make us look good, so today I have prepared a selection of swimming costumes and outfits that I like to wear when I go to the beach.

For example I have this model in yellow, although due to my pale skin colour yellow does not suit me very well, I like this swimming costume because the top has other colours like blue and fuchsia, on the other hand I accompanied this swimming costume with this piece that you see on the right (it was a gift from one of my aunts), it is a whole piece and as at that point my skin is already more tanned due to the sun does not make me look pale.

Sunglasses are a must in my beach outfits because the sun is really intense and I'm a bit photosensitive. On the other hand sometimes I like to wear this outfit over my swimming costume, as it's quite cool as you can see, it's fresh but at the same time elegant. I always combine it with a hat to protect me even more from the sun, some bracelets and seashell earrings.

My mum has always been a very creative person, so on one occasion she grabbed a pair of leggings that I no longer had any use for, and proposed me to make a swimming costume out of it, (she loves watching tutorials on the internet, so she assured me that I could do it) I was sure that I would, and you can see the beautiful result, it is what I call "recycling fashion" because you can literally take any piece that you no longer use or don't like and give it a second chance of useful life. Customising clothes not only benefits you economically but also benefits the planet, as textile pieces are one of the most polluting agents on the planet, due to the large amount of clothes that are wasted every year.

This swimming costume has some purple and pink details that I find very nice, also the fabric is quite comfortable, I think it is one of the swimsuits that I like the most because of how comfortable it is to wear it, it adapts perfectly to the body, without metallic or plastic parts that can rub the skin or hurt it.

Here I was forced to combine my swimming costume with a pair of Jean shorts because I had my period that day and unfortunately I couldn't go into the sea (women will understand me) 😞 But anyway you can see the top of the swimming costume, which I think is the most beautiful part, it's vintage style, inspired in the 50's, that's what caught my attention when I saw it in the shop, that's why it has those sailor style stripes. 😄

This dress is beautiful and perfect to wear to and from the beach. I love the fabric because it's very soft and it lets the air in keeping me fresh, plus the colours are very tropical, so it's perfect for the occasion.

And last but not least I have this beautiful dress in reddish tones, whose fabric also lets the air pass through and keeps me fresh, it is also quite volatile, which gives it a beautiful effect when the breeze hits it, that's why it is one of my favourites, besides, due to its softness it never hurts my skin, which is quite sensitive after an intense day of sun and salt water.

But I wear it not only on the beach but also in other environments, and with a pair of sandals it looks great.
