Ifecoman bar now accepts HBD and we signed up a customer

I had the pleasure of working alongside @yummycruz1 to take another small step in promoting the SpendHBD initiative, and the experience was both rewarding and fulfilling. Our focus was on introducing a nearby business, Ifecoman Bar, to the advantages of accepting HBD (Hive-backed Dollars) for transactions, while also showing how customers can enjoy cashbacks when they use the distriator.

Ifecoman Bar has always been a go-to spot for people in the area, offering a variety of drinks, food and meat. Recognizing this as an excellent opportunity to spread awareness about HBD, we approached the owner with the idea of joining the SpendHBD initiative.

We explained how:

• Accepting HBD could attract a new audience of Hive users.
• Their customers could benefit from discounts or cashbacks, making purchases more appealing.
• They could easily convert HBD to fiat, making it a win-win for both the business and customers.

The concept piqued the owner’s interest, and after a detailed walkthrough, he decided to give it a try. We assisted him in listing his business as one that accepts HBD, officially making Ifecoman Bar a part of the SpendHBD network.

Signing Up a New Customer
Later today, the impact of this effort became evident when a customer walked into the bar to make a purchase. Sensing an opportunity, I introduced him to the idea of paying with HBD and explained the discounts and cashbacks he could gain from using it.

Intrigued, he decided to explore this option further. I helped him create a Hive account (@donmelody) and showed him how he could purchase HBD to use at Ifecoman Bar and other participating businesses. He was thrilled to learn about the benefits and he used his cash to buy a little HBD tried it out and it worked like magic for him hehe. We also invited him to the little Shokin we're planning to host at Ifecoman bar and he agreed to come, and I hope to see him too.

This experience shows the potential of SpendHBD to bridge the gap between cryptocurrency and everyday commerce. By working with local businesses and customers, we’re not just promoting the use of HBD but also fostering an ecosystem where more people can discover the benefits of being part of the Hive blockchain.
