Joyful Moments With Family - Celebrating My Cousin's Birthday
There’s nothing more heartwarming and joyful than spending time with family. These days, it becomes a ritual for our family to gather every weekend and spend quality time. Most of us are grown and starting to realize how family is really important in our life. Though, the celebration was pretty humble, we got the most fun out of it and for the first time, we even celebrated Reno’s birthday with a cake. It is quite special because after many years separated, we rarely even have this joyous family time & he rarely wanted his birthday to be celebrated too. So, we consider this was such a rare moments.
For the decoration, we used the recycled decoration from my birthday. We put it up and while Reno was still outside with his girlfriend, we made sure that the house has the birthday vibe. Ray prepared a simple cake for him and I prepared some snacks & drinks. This is Ray’s after finishing with the simple decoration. Our family always find ways to make simple things interesting and make the most of it.
When Reno arrived, we turned off the lights in the house and sang happy birthday. It was really fun because all of were there. My mom & dad, my uncle, my aunt and also my cousin. My niece was also there eventhough she was sleeping through the whole celebration. By the way, we didn't really prepare a table, so we just grabbed this stool as a table 🤣. Obviously, the cats are invited. As you can see below, Cici also wanted a piece of the cake.
In our family, usually after blowing the candle, we cut the cake and distribute it to the parents and then another eldest member of the family.
Reno’s girlfriend was also there and she had fun with us. As a big sister, I am so proud of how he’s grown and finally matured. He is also happier these days and I find that truly heartwarming and I only wish he'll always be happy.
He also got a lot closer to the family because he’s pretty closed off and he rarely talks. Strangely, we all got along pretty well these days.
After the celebration, we talked about fun stuff and we planned on going on family adventure. Since Ray has a baby daughter, he seemingly wants to always take her around on a mini vacation. Also, since the baby daughter with us, our family got even closer and we all felt like she was blessed to us to replace our grandmother that bonded us together.

Happy birthday to your cousin! I wish him many more birthdays to come. May the Lord bless your fellowship together as family members. How I wish my family could see the value of presence like yours. 🫶
Thank you so much! I hope you have a great weekend.
It's good to read and know that you used recycled stuff to decorate. Happy Birthday to your cousin. I live in joined family so everyday is like gathering day. We have so many birthdays to celebrate. in my home, we also distribute cake to parents and elders first.
Yeah, it can be like that sometimes. Our house is close to each other and these days it feels like that even more than before.
Happy Birthday to your cousin 🎉 It was a lovely blog🥑

Happy birthday to your cuz.
starting to notice it hehe😊 and yes, it feels like totally gem as we grow older now.
Happy birthday to Reno! He must have been surprised and happy.
I sincerely hope that you all get to enjoy more adventurous tines together.
Family is everything.
I am passing that on and thank you! that's something I didn't realize growing up, how family is important.
Congratulations to your brother, nothing better than celebrating with family and friends, you can tell that they had an excellent time and your brother was happy. I didn't know that tradition of first the parents and then the adults, here in my country it's different waoo here it is given to the children first and then the adults, but it should be first the parents and adults hehe good point this. Greetings and continue enjoying 😉
