ein weiterer #Beersaturday Post aus den USA. Heute vom Balkon unseres Zimmers mit Blick auf den Strand und das Meer vor Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ich habe mir ein in den USA sehr bekanntes Bier ausgesucht, das Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Das Pabst Blue Ribbon, oder PBR wie es oft genannt wird, ist ein amerikanisches Lagerbier, das seit 1844 gebraut wird. Es ist eines der beliebtesten Biere in den USA und bekannt für seinen erfrischenden Geschmack und seinen günstigen Preis.

Aussehen:

PBR wird in einer typischen 12-Unzen-Dose oder 16-Unzen-Flasche verkauft. Ich habe mich für die Dosenvariante entschieden. Daher kann ich über das Aussehen wenig berichten, beim Öffnen kam mir zumindest der Schaum entgegen.

Geschmack:

Der Geschmack von PBR ist leicht und malzig mit einem Hauch von Süße. Es hat einen leicht bitteren Abgang, der jedoch nicht zu stark ist. PBR ist ein sehr süffiges Bier, das sich gut zum Trinken an einem warmen Tag eignet.

Geruch:

PBR hat einen leichten Geruch nach Malz und Getreide. Der Geruch ist nicht sehr ausgeprägt, aber er ist angenehm und passt gut zum Geschmack des Bieres.

Gesamt:

Pabst Blue Ribbon ist ein solides Lagerbier, das seinem Ruf als erfrischendes und günstiges Bier gerecht wird. Es ist kein Spitzenbier, scxhon gar nicht zu vergleichen mit deutschem Bier aber es hat definitiv ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ich würde PBR jedem empfehlen, der ein leichtes und süffiges Bier sucht, das man gut trinken kann.
