Night shot - Waterfront

Hi hi.. morning everyone.. It's been a while since I last flew my drone.. Currently, DJI launched the Mini 3 pro. I own a DJI MINI SE. Today, I am going to bring you to the city to view the waterfront area. A canal where oil and gas vessels pass through every single day.

It is a beautiful sight indeed. The best time of the day.

A small little platform park where families come to during the evening to watch boats come in and out of the canal every day. There are lots of seafood restaurants here that are quite popular with the locals and tourist alike.

The best time to fly up my drone. The spectacular of the colours in the sky. Pink, yellow. Only silhouettes of the tall trees and vegetation can be seen.

An offshore vessel moving inland from the oil rigs out at sea with her crew. The offshore vessels in Sarawak usually have female names to prevent any misfortunes from happening at sea.

The crew, I guess, is pretty happy to be back on land. Usually, they are out at sea for at least two weeks at once.

Ripples of water waves

The water here is slightly darker in colour but as you go all the way out to sea, it has another shade of colour. It's like looking at two colours.

There are many offshore vessels here in Miri parked along the shores along the coast.

The city of oil

The city began its life as a fishing town and after the discovery of oil, the city scapes slowly changed. Lots of new tall buildings are still currently under construction. I can envision the whole city full of tall towers in the next decade when I fly my drone.

The roads are fully lit at night for cars to drive.

PULLMAN HOTEL

One of the best hotel in the city other than Marriot hotel. Imagine staying at the top floor looking out into the sea during sunset.

High above

I flew my drone up to around 250 metres. There is a building that isn't lit up somewhere on the right which is going to be Shell's operation headquarters.

This is one part of the city and the city has many different parts.

High up, it is definitely a lot different to look at.

The view from high above is breathtaking.

The park here is built in the shape of the seahorse from high above and that is a metal seahorse statue.
