Hi hi.. good morning.. how are you? It's another new week again. Today is another new Tuesday. So, where can you go and eat if you visit Miri?

Let's have some Dim Sum. Are you a fan of Dim Sum? Today, I am going to bring you to one of my favorite dim sum restaurants here in Miri, Sarawak. Dim Sum is similar to fast food. Select the dim sum you want and they will bring it to the table.

This Dim Sum restaurant is quite popular here. This Dim Sum restaurant is known as Lao Yang dim sum restaurant. Every day, this restaurant is packed with hungry customers.

My wife and I ordered some dim sum

Some egg tarts, custard buns ( the yellow buns), som mai, century egg som mai. We did not order a lot but just enough to try most of the different dishes here The best thing about eating dim sum is that you can try out many different types of dishes in small tidbits.

Which dish caught your eye?

The restaurant is usually packed with many customers but it wasn't too full on this day. Great. The custard bun is one of the best-tasting buns. Usually, this bun is filled with custard that is still in semi-liquid form. Once you bite into the bun, the yellowish filling flows out. Yummy.

One bamboo container of dim sum is Rm 6.20 or around roughly USD 1.50.
