Hi hi... good morning.. everyone.. It's been a while since I last wrote a post about Dim Sum.. I went to eat Dim Sum with my wife yesterday morning. This is one of the most popular places to eat Dim Sum here in Miri. Lao Yang restaurant is one of the most popular places here in Miri where you can eat various types of Dim Sum.

If you want to get a plate of dim sum, this is one of the best places to eat Dim Sum. The first dish that I am going to show you is the egg tart. One of my favourite. But not all places make delicious egg tart. I love egg tarts that have crunchy base.

This is the dim sum warmer where you can get to choose the dim sum of your choice. Hot. Ready to serve.

So what does it look like on the inside?

Neat. Super neat. The whole restaurant is quite clean on the inside. There wasn't a lot of customers at this point of time. Maybe because, it was a weekday. There are times when I was here that there were not enough seats available. Let's check it out and find out what they have other than dim sum.

The best type of Dim Sum usually is hot. On top of a food steamer. When the Dim Sum comes in, it still has the steam on it. The best type of Dim Sum.

So what did we order?

This is what we ordered. Prawn dim sum. Some noodles and other dim sums. Prawn dumplings are simply delicious and a must try if you ever visit a restaurant that specialises in Dim Sum. Did we manage to finish everything here?

Most of it was eaten and some we took home. So now, I am going to show you what the close-up shots look like.

Prawn dumplings

The best type of prawn dumplings are the chewy ones. It has to be super duper chewable. The skin is made of sticky transparent wrap.

Egg Tart

Super crispy skin. I love egg tarts that have really crunchy skin. If the skin doesn't taste good, then it's not worth it anymore.

Famous dim sum

At any dim sum restaurant, this particular dish is a must try. No matter what restaurant you go as long as it serves dim sum.

It's great to enjoy morning breakfast with my wife.
