There are 11 Splinterlands Cards under 2 cents: which ones are the best?

Hello everyone!

On the market, there are exactly 11 cards that can be bought for under 2 cents: Carrion Shade, Mycelic Morphoid, Hardy Stonefish, Radiated SCorcher, Gargoya Scrapper, Sunkai Harvester, Crypt Beetle, Lava Spider, Radiated Brute, Shadow Snitch, and Venari Scout.

Many think that all those cards are absolute garbage, considering that they're being sold for a single penny. But there are some interesting cards in the middle of those!

Let's take a look at the best 3 cards under 2 cents!

RANK #3: Sunkai Harvester

This card, on Level 4 (30 BCX, which means about 50 cents only) already has 2 Melee Attack, 5 Total Defensive Stats (2 Armor + 3 Health) and the Reach ability, which makes the Sunkai a great secondary tank to put in your team in the 2nd slot.

The underwhelming part of this Monster is that, at Level 6, he receives a very disappointing ability: Oppress (double damage against enemies that have no attack). As the Sunkai Harvester should be put on the frontline, it's difficult for him to actually attack an enemy without attack. Nonetheless, he keeps progressing well on the stats (Damage/Armor/Health), but kinda falls out on the higher levels.

Nonetheless, he has a solid role in a Life Splinter team, thus getting the Rank #3 on the Rank!

RANK #2: Venari Scout

The Venari Scout is a powerful card even on Level 1, due the Opportunity ability. Obviously, with only 1 attack, he kinda underperforms; but on Level 4 he gets an extra attack point, doubling his effectiveness.

And, differently from the Sunkai, this card receives a wonderful ability on Level 6: Dodge, increasing the chance of him evading Melee/Ranged attacks and, thus, allowing him to be alive a little longer and blow an extra attack or two.

I particularly love the Venari Scout at level 8, because he has 4 Speed AND the Dodge ability, making him INCREDIBLY difficult to be killed by non-Magic monsters.

RANK #1: Lava Spider

This card isn't actually strong by itself. But he's on the 1st place of this rank because the Lava Spider is one of the most important pieces of the ultra-powerful Yodin Zaku wombo-combo. This combo just NEEDS Ranged Monsters with Snipe ability (in order to double the effectiveness of the Blast that Yodin gives to the team), and, hey, here's a cheap-o Ranged Monster with Snipe! And he only costs 3 Mana (and we all know that Yodin costs A LOT of mana to be played by himself, so we have to be mana-light on the Monsters).

A Level 4 Lava Spider has 2 Ranged Damage; Yodin Zaku gives +1, for a total of 3 Damage. But the Snipe allows him to attack a Monster with 2 adjacent Monsters, for a total of 3 + 2 + 2 = 7 total damage.

It's just fucking bonkers.
