A cidade agitada e cruel,
Desafia a alma exaustada.
O relógio ditando o ritmo incessante,
A vida urbana, sempre desenfreada,
Numa corrida que parece constante.
O coração tenta acompanhar o compasso,
Mas a alma, cansada, sente as defesas,
Busca uma pausa nesse embaraço.
Os rostos desconhecidos se cruzam,
Nas calçadas, histórias são deixadas,
Sonhos adiados, esperanças que se ofuscam.
As preocupações se acumulam na mente,
O tempo voa, sem descanso, se esconde,
E a vida segue, impiedosamente.
