THE FLEXIBILITY OF SELF-EMPLOYMENT AND REMOTE JOBS
Source
It is important to me that my daily and everyday schedule is organized and carried out in such a way that I am not faced with interwoven tasks and also so that I have the time to do other things as I deem fit.
Haven worked at a job that could pass for a full-time employment sort of, with the exception that it was for a shorter time in a day, I can categorically say that one of the things you don't get so easy is flexibility. You must show up at hours that the employer requests, and you are handed some time off as the employer pleases. With being self-employed and working remotely, that differs.
I work at a number of jobs which I could conveniently describe as self-employment but taking into factor that one is for Home educating whereby the schedule of myself and the kids under my tutelage are scrutinized and a time suitable for all of us is considered, I must say differently.
My jobs are flexible. With the home lessons, it's a tad bit different cause I get to meet up with my end of the bargain. A few hours, a number of times in a week. So far, it has not come between me and some other thing I have to do or a place that i have to be. Actually, the one or two times it did, all I had to do was put a call across and do some rescheduling. That much perks is associated with the job.
And like I earlier stated, the class runtime is only for, say, three, or at most, four hours in the day, so I have the rest of twenty hours or so to myself. This here is the job that follows an order daily cause, aside from the weekend, the classes must be held in the evenings when my students are back home from school, if you get me.
My other jobs are remote. There's not an employer whom I have to report to. The jobs all work based on my interest. I could choose to or not to work and can do that from anywhere at all using my Pc or even my phone. With this job, I can afford to attend to pretty much every and anything else outside of it. Whatever time that is okay for me is when I work, and that affords me to liberty to even take on offline jobs and go about other activities like I had nothing else on my plate.
The flexibility with self-employment and remote jobs is a big flex. I remember having to show up for my home educating job, work at another job that required me to supply finger foods(small chops) to banks, go for my Indutrial training as fulfillment of my school requirements and also still show up here on Hive. Even with these, I still had some fair enough time to do some other things. Now imagine that I worked a full-time job, surely I would not have had even the littlest time to cater to my basic needs, more so, working on other jobs.
It's pretty clear from here that my jobs offer me the option to be flexible, and that is exactly how I like for it to be.
Regardless, I still like to schedule my day and run by some sort of routine so that I know what is for when and what times of the day that I am occupied or not. This method has proven to be very productive for me.
I hope you found this interesting to read. Thank you for coming around.
