IN A FEW WEEKS FROM TODAY

It's almost that time of the year again. The time when most people get to go on breaks and enjoy the festive holidays together with friends and family. A much needed break after working or studying or doing whatever it is all-year long.
So many persons already look forward to the break. It's usually a beautiful, exciting time around here and the mood is on the high.

For me, my break already begun a long time ago. Not very long, but say, two months ago. Since the day that I got done with my school project defense and since the day that I took my final exams.

I know that I have been working around finalizing certain things but that, I only do, whenever I have the time. Or do I say, whenever I feel like.

It's not exactly been a straight-up holiday for me considering the fact that I work. I run a few jobs online, and those get me very occupied. Sometimes, I am so occupied that I only have a few minutes to eat and groom myself. Sleep is not even so much in the picture as I sleep for lesser hours. Time is money.

That was my routine until I had some issues on the job, and I began to feel burnt out. So when the opportunity came, I took the cue and went on a journey. It helped me take my mind off things and sort of made me feel better since I was with family and friends.

After that I traveled home(to my parents' house in the city), I only stayed a while, rested some, before I began feeling bored from not working.
You can say that while my kind of job gives me leeway that mskes me feel like I'm on holiday, im not exactly on holiday. At least, not in the way that i am used to. So maybe, my actual holiday begins in a few weeks(days) from today.

Well, I'm back to my residence, trying to put a number of new things and projects together, hoping that they go so well. But this, this wouldn't deter me from spending this most highly anticipated holiday with family, as I always do.

It's so much fun around here. Everyone gets back home, and so we get to reunite and catch up after months of being away from one another. There's lots of merriment and fun, so who would want to miss that? Definitely not me!

Right now, I have nothing mapped out neither plans made for how the holiday would go. To be frank, we never really do that around here -the much planning. Certainly, we all have a good time. I quite am looking at visiting a number of people and catching up with friends who I haven't seen in months, though, but it's just that. Nothing else. We go with the flow here, and it's usually excellent, so I'm okay with just letting things be that way.

In a week or two, I'll be back at home. Thanks for the kind of jobs that I do, which do not come in the way of my plans. Not to forget that I could choose not to work, if I please. And it's just that. All good!

I hope that this was interesting to read.
Thank you for coming around

Your holiday started earlier because of your Exams, congratulations on the success of your exams.

I know how staying at home without a job can be so boring. I'm glad you are trying to put some things together.
