Especially old users of Splinterlands know flying ability monsters are specially made for the earthquake ruleset battle which is true but apart from the flying ability monsters, there are some more abilities and stats that you can use for the earthquake battle.
So let's talk about those cards. The first rule is always to use cards with more speed and more health so that they can long last in the battle and this way you can win easily. Now the most important thing is to heal and tank heal monsters. You get damaged in an earthquake battle in each round by the opponent's monster and earthquake attack.
In this situation, heal and tank heal monsters can help you a lot to fight for longer in the battle to win. Monsters with life leech and scavenger abilities are useful too. So try to select these cards in the earthquake ruleset battle. I have seen lots of people only use flying ability monsters and still they lose the battle it is because of the lack of team setup. You should have some attackers as well. you can't use only flying ability monsters in an earthquake rule battle.
