Texas Court Dismisses Consensys’ Lawsuit Against SEC Over Ethereum Investigation
hello guys this is lucky ali and welcome back to the other post. Here I am going to talk about an important matter regarding Ethereum. A Texas court dismissed Consensys’ lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and this is a recent decision, filed to protect the ecosystem of Ethereum from regulatory overreach in April month 2024. The Texas court’s dismissal was on procedural grounds, without considering the merits of Consensys’ claims. Consensys asserted a significant victory as the Security Exchange Commission closed its “Ethereum 2.0” investigation following the lawsuit Despite this setback.
The Ethereum crypto company remains committed to fighting for the rights of blockchain developers in the United States and contesting the Security Exchange Commission’s actions in Brooklyn, while also noting a potential shift in Washington’s sentiment toward crypto. This is not the first time that ethreum facing such problems but this was already happened with ethereum before.
If Bitcoin is king then Ethereum is queen and this is the sentence that proves the popularity of Ethereum and that is why whatever happens with Ethereum, it is going to impact the whole crypto community for sure. We have seen the examples in the past. So this is not just a sentence to speak but it is the reality. Ethreu provided many solutions in the beginning of crypto. Bitcoin just was a crypto with buy sell and mine but Ethereum provided a better solution. For example, you can build your dapp on Ethereum and this is the first-ever concept provided by Ethereum developers.
Now coming to this news this one is really important for us to keep an eye on because now market sentiments are positive and if we see any news regarding Ethereum then things may be a little difficult in the short term. But if you are a long-term believer then you don't need to take a tension. No matter what happens you don't need to sell your cryptocurrencies. Just hold them and see the drama. I am not holding Ethereum right now but it is best to have top coins of crypto so that we can expect better in the future.
My main focus hive and then other cryptocurrencies I made a mistake in the past by investing 80% of my funds in Splinterlands game. But still, I am happy now because that was my earnings and I followed the reinvestment strategy.
