When it comes to strategies then there are multiple great combinations available that help you to win most of the ranked battles. This is the specialty of Splinterlands you can build your own customized card combination to do battles. In the previous post, I shared 2 strategies to win in the modern format. However, I am switching back to the wild format after reaching a 1500 rating because even with bots, the wild format is good to play. So playing some battles in the modern format every season and then playing wild is not a bad choice because I don't want to reset my modern rating. So what is your opinion on this must let me know in the comment section.

In the previous social media challenge post I talked about Scarred Llama Mage With The Kron The Undying and Using Any Good Gladiator Card With The New Reward Summoner and these two strategies were effective for me to reach 1000 ratings. I have other strategies within the wild because I have the option to choose all the cards in the wild that is why the wild is perfect for me. Anyway, Here I will talk about a new strategy with doctor blight. Let's talk about it.

New Strategy With Doctor Blight

There are multiple cards available that you can buy and improve your battle skill. However, if you can choose a legendary card then overall you will get good benefits for sure. Legendary cards give you good abilities which is why they are expensive and called legend. Among these legendary cards, there is doctor blight. This is a very popular and effective card but unfortunately, I don't have it in my collection. This card has more demand and because of this reason, the price of this card is higher.

There is another option of renting and trying this is not a bad idea. Because level 1 doctor blight is not that effective. So if you want to get better power in doctor blight then you have to level up it at least for level 3. In level 3, you will get 4 types of abilities such as affliction, camouflage, poison, and scavenger. When you go for level 4 you will have one more ability that is weaken. and this is a great ability too. You can take this card with any well-upgraded summoner and it works perfectly. If you are going to take with +1 magic attack summoner then you will get additional benefit in attacks.

Put this card in the last position for a better result. most probably, I will rent this card because buying is not affordable for me because I have to spend more than $300 to buy and upgrade this card for the 3rd level and obviously this is not affordable. So once I will buy this card so I will have more deck strength.

Switching Back To The Wild Format

So I played a modern format in the last season and it was a good experience. I played modern because of the bot ban update and people say that there is more reward which is true but in the wild, I am able to increase my rating much higher than in the modern format so when we compare the rewards with low ratings in the modern and reward with the high rating in a wild then there is no a much difference. that is why I have decided to come back to the wild. There are two benefits for me one is an I can use my all cards and the second benefit is more ratings.

However, modern is good after the bot ban but competition is still there so you have two try better strategies in the modern format otherwise you will struggle to reach good ratings in the modern format.
