The first holidays of the year are always the most fun, since Carnival is all about colors and glitter. This year I had several very busy days, in fact I think for my carnival it lasted about two weeks, although without a doubt the busiest day was Saturday, it was still a lot of fun. This Carnival weekend was full of many things, so much so that today Thursday is that I am getting back to the routine and remembering these days, I wanted to share with you what Saturday and Sunday of Carnival was like for me.

My Saturday started with a Carnival Makeup, I was planning this for several days, so I already knew what to do: a shiny makeup inspired by the colors of my Hive Sucre shirt, also placing the shiny pebbles and all that. Then I went to the place where the carnivals were going to take place, in the historic center of my city, where we set up the Hive booth for several hours.

Almost late at night we were staying to finish watching the election of the queen, make the pertinent recordings and we finished around 3 in the morning. So I went back home to sleep all morning and the next day to do more or less the same routine regarding the place, the stand. I was also looking a little bit at the comparsas and all that.

On Sunday, after finishing with the Hive activities, we decided to go out a little bit to distract ourselves, since we deserved it. My boyfriend and I decided to go to a place called "11:11" which I had never visited before and I was really looking forward to it. We ordered a Pizza for dinner and also a tobo of beers (I mean, a combo of 10 beers for 8$) But the truth is that the place was full of people, the Djs of the night arrived and that first tobo, became the second and we left almost at 3 in the morning too.
