Este año me quiero dar la tarea de terminar algunas sagas pendientes que comencé y que no terminé. Y la verdad, para serles demasiado honesta, tengo muchas sagas que comencé en su momento, pero que no he terminado por diversos motivos. Para completar, me di cuenta de que la primera saga que comencé y no termine, o por lo menos una de las primeras, fue Señores del Inframundo, de la escritora Gena Showalter. Esta saga la verdad tiene una permisa que a mí me llamó mucho la atención y que afortunadamente al día de hoy todavía es una temática de fantasía que me gusta bastante le contaré un poco más de qué va en esta reseña que nunca les pude compartir y que justo es necesario que tuve que darle una releída para poder recordar mejor la saga y poder continuar de una forma más eficiente.

Algunos de estos géneros tienen males, la ida, la muerte, en el oro, la enfermedad y un montón más Nuestro primer guerrero nuestro protagonista de este libro titulado la noche más oscura es el guerrero Maddox quien recibió uno de los castigos más fuertes, ya que él mató a Pandora entonces al resguardar al demonio de la violencia, también fue condenado a morir cada noche de la misma manera, a manos del guerrero Reyes que lleva el demonio del dolor, y su alma viaja a través de Lucien, quien custodia a Muerte, hacia el inframundo donde es doctorado y lo regresan a su cuerpo a la mañana siguiente eso durante todos los días de su vida.

La historia de los guerreros es bastante trágica, pero eso le da un poco de emoción a estas historias desde mi punto de vista. En este primer libro conocemos también a una humana llamada Ashlyn Darrow. Ella llega hacia Budapest que es la ciudad donde ocurre esta historia, ya que ella es una persona diferente. Ashlyn tiene problemas sobre poderes sobrenaturales, ya que puede escuchar las voces de las personas que estuvieron en un lugar por determinado un momento, esto evidentemente ha hecho que toda su vida haya sido un poco complicado y ella llega hasta Budapest debido a que escuchó que había hombres con poderes sobrenaturales y ella quería conocerla para ver si le podían ayudar con sus dones. Evidentemente, la relación que hay entre ambos no es del todo perfecta desde el principio, ya que hay un poco de recelo porque los guerreros pensaban que ella era un cebo para dejarse capturar, pero después descubren la verdaderas intenciones y evidentemente entre Ashlyn y ocurre una química bastante latente. Y como en un libro de fantasía no todo puede ser tan perfecto tampoco, ocurre una serie de eventos catastróficos que le van a dar bastante emoción a esta historia, nos introducen varios personajes, todos conocemos a todos los guerreros, conocemos también chicas humanas diferentes, conocemos a los cazadores y un montón de cosas que hacen que este libro sea bastante completo para hacer el primero de una saga de 15 libros. Ashlyn también ayuda a Maddox a levantar su maldición, esto con el fin de que deje de sufrir diariamente, aunque siempre será un guerrero con un demonio dentro de sí.

Evidently, the relationship between the two is not quite perfect from the beginning, as there is a bit of suspicion because the warriors thought she was bait to be captured, but then they discover the true intentions and evidently between Ashlyn and a quite latent chemistry occurs. And as in a fantasy book not everything can be so perfect either, a series of catastrophic events happen that are going to give quite a lot of excitement to this story, we are introduced to several characters, we all meet all the warriors, we also meet different human girls, we meet the hunters and a lot of things that make this book quite complete to make the first of a 15 book saga. Ashlyn also helps Maddox lift his curse, this in order to stop him from suffering on a daily basis, although he will always be a warrior with a demon inside him.

Yo siento que, para ser el primero de una saga bastante larga, no es un libro lento ni tampoco es aburrido. Siento que pasan bastantes cosas y también te da una buena idea de dónde va la saga. Básicamente, la misión que se plantean los guerreros es buscar la caja de Pandora y destruirla de una vez por todas. Al mismo tiempo conocemos al grupo de cazadores que hace las suyas y, si mal no recuerdo, secuestran a Ashlyn, lo que hace que Maddox demuestre por qué es el guerrero más peligroso de todos al agregar al demonio de la violencia con él. La verdad esto es que este libro que a mí me gustó muchísimo y puedo recomendar. No puedo recomendarles por completo porque no la he terminado. Creo que estoy por el libro número tres de 15, lo cual habla bastante poco, pero sí les debo decir que es bastante entretenida. Me gusta que el hecho de que involucra como ciertos dioses de la mitología griega, la mayoría y en algunos casos como que se llama más o menos la línea original, aunque al ser una historia fantasiosa cambian bastantes cosas. Me gusta mucho el concepto de guerreros guardianes y también el concepto de señores del inframundo, ya que al agregar cada uno de ellos a un demonio dentro de ti, tienden a ser mucho más peligrosos y tienden a no controlarse. En resumidas cuentas, este es un libro que a mí me gustó mucho y le doy un sólido cuatro de cinco. En romance la verdad atrapa bastante y me gustó, un poquito predecible, pero no me molesta. No le doy las cinco estrellas porque este año me produce a valorar de forma un poquito más objetiva de los libros, pero sí le puedo dar una sólida cuatro estrellas. I feel that, for being the first in a rather long saga, it is not a slow book nor is it boring. I feel like quite a bit happens and it also gives you a good idea of where the saga is going. At the same time we meet the group of hunters who do their thing and, if I remember correctly, kidnap Ashlyn, which makes Maddox prove why he is the most dangerous warrior of all by adding the demon of violence with him. The truth this is that this book I thoroughly enjoyed and can recommend. I can't fully recommend it because I haven't finished it. I think I'm on book number three out of 15, which is not saying much, but I must tell you that it is quite entertaining. I like the fact that it involves like certain gods from Greek mythology, mostly and in some cases kind of calls back to more or less the original line, although being a fantasy story they change quite a few things. I really like the concept of guardian warriors and also the concept of lords of the underworld, since adding each of them to a demon within you, they tend to be much more dangerous and tend not to control themselves. All in all, this is a book that I really enjoyed and I give it a solid four out of five. In romance it really grips quite a bit and I liked it, a little predictable, but I don't mind. I'm not giving it five stars because this year I'm getting a little more objective about the books, but I can give it a solid four stars. I hope you liked this review, see you soon.
