Cuando la vida me regala una trilogía tan buena como "el reino de los malditos" soy la persona más feliz, ya que no puedo parar de leer hasta terminarla, me vuelvo un poco adicta. Y particularmente, esta trilogía para mí fue bastante sólida, siento que todos los libros me gustaron, casi por igual, un poco de amor cada vez que pasaba de libro. En la última reseña les comentaba que Emilia y Vittoria estaban en el Hell, con Vittoria conociendo muchos secretos de un pasado que Emilia no sabía que existía.

When life gives me a trilogy as good as “the kingdom of the damned” I am the happiest person, as I can't stop reading until I finish it, I become a bit addicted. And particularly, this trilogy for me was pretty solid, I feel like I liked all the books, almost equally, a little bit of love every time I moved on from book to book. In the last review I told you that Emilia and Vittoria were in Hell, with Vittoria learning many secrets of a past that Emilia didn't know existed.

Al inicio de este libro nos revelan lo que dejó "loca" a una bruja que apareció recurrentemente en los libros anteriores, una profecía con una frase muy inquietante: lo que pasa arriba, pasa abajo. Seguidamente, volvemos al presente, justo donde lo dejamos en el libro anterior, con Emilia aceptando sus sentimientos hacia Wrath y queriendo aceptar el vínculo por completo. Pero, fueron interrumpidos por Vittoria, como pasaría muchas veces en el resto de la historia. Y es ahí cuando Emilia tiene que aceptar la realidad, que su hermana nunca estuvo muerta y que ellas dos son más que simples brujas, con un papel muy fundamental en la profecía.

At the beginning of this book we are revealed what made a witch who appeared recurrently in the previous books “crazy”, a prophecy with a very disturbing phrase: what happens above, happens below. Next, we return to the present, right where we left off in the previous book, with Emilia coming to terms with her feelings for Wrath and wanting to accept the bond completely. But, they were interrupted by Vittoria, as would happen many times in the rest of the story. And that's when Emilia has to accept the reality, that her sister was never dead and that the two of them are more than just witches, with a very pivotal role in the prophecy.

Durante la primera parte del libro, Emilia y Wrath practican juntos, mientras ella va recordando cosas, e incluso confundiendo el pasado con el presente, ya que ella y Wrath tuvieron historia juntos. Pero él tampoco recordaba mucho de su vida pasada y juntos fuerzan los recuerdos de ella, dándose cuenta de que Emilia fue reina junto con Wrath y que, al igual que Vittoria era una diosa, una de la muerte y otra de la furia, básicamente, las temidas. During the first part of the book, Emilia and Wrath practice together, while she is remembering things, and even confusing the past with the present, as she and Wrath had history together. But he didn't remember much of his past life either, and together they strain her memories, realizing that Emilia was queen along with Wrath and that, like Vittoria, she was a goddess, one of death and one of fury, basically, the feared ones. But, even accepting it, Vittoria still had to give up her heart to accept power. It was like dying, but with the certainty of coming back to life with more power than before.

Todos estos sucesos ocurren en menos de 200 páginas, eso no es ni la mitad del libro, que es bastante interesante porque siempre están pasando cosas nuevas e intrigantes. Y no solo la historia se remonta a Wrath, Emilia y Vittoria, sino que también involucran a algunos de los príncipes del infierno, ya sea porque participan en algunas conspiraciones, o porque sus territorios se ven algo afectados con estos conflictos entre hermanas, y entre las brujas que resultaron no ser del bando de los "buenos". Mención honorífica a Pride, que resultó tener una historia interesante, y a Greed, quien parece ser un buen "amigo" aunque él diga que no.

All these events happen in less than 200 pages, that's not even half of the book, which is quite interesting because new and intriguing things are always happening. And not only the story goes back to Wrath, Emilia and Vittoria, but they also involve some of the princes of hell, either because they participate in some conspiracies, or because their territories are somewhat affected with these conflicts between sisters, and between the witches who turned out not to be on the side of the “good guys”. Honorable mention to Pride, who turned out to have an interesting story, and to Greed, who seems to be a good “friend” even though he says he is not.

Finalmente, después de un montón de sucesos, se resuelve la profecía y la historia de Wrath con Emilia se aclara, reinando el infierno juntos. En este libro pasa un cliché que a mí no me gusta, de hecho odio mucho, que es cuando uno o dos de los protagonistas pierde sus poderes por el poder del guión, pero particularmente la autora lo manejó muy bien, al poner a Wrath a compartir la mitad de su poder con Emilia, lo cual es bastante, aunque me enoja ligeramente que dejara de ser ella una Temida. Debo decir que este fue mi libro favorito de todos, ya que tiene mucho más amor y más acción, lo volvería a releer sin duda. También sé qué hay como un spin-off de una historia que queda abierta, y la cual quiero leer. Espero que les haya encantado conocer mis opiniones, nos leemos pronto!

Finally, after a lot of events, the prophecy is resolved and Wrath's story with Emilia becomes clear, reigning hell together. A cliché happens in this book that I don't like, in fact I hate a lot, which is when one or two of the main characters lose their powers due to the power of the storyline, but particularly the author handled it very well, putting Wrath to share half of his power with Emilia, which is quite something, although I'm slightly angry that she stopped being a Dread. I have to say this was my favorite book of all, as it has a lot more love and more action, I would definitely reread it again.
