¿Qué hacen cuando tienen una idea, pero la postergan por mucho tiempo? La verdad es que esas son cosas que me suelen generar un poco de inseguridad, cuando se me ocurre un tema del que hablar, pero lo postergo por razones y cuando lo quiero retomar pasa algo, eso me hace creer que no es una buena idea. Pero, en un arrebato de energía y buenas vibras, esas ideas vuelven a mí, es de esta manera que mis ganas de hablar sobre The Sandman han despertado. Esta serie se estrenó hace un año, sé que no la vi el día exacto de su estreno, pero recuerdo no paso mucho tiempo para que la viera y me gustara muchísimo, incluso la llegue a ver dos veces, así que hablaremos de esta serie diciéndola en dos.

This series was released a year ago, I know I didn't see it the exact day of its premiere, but I remember it didn't take long for me to see it and I liked it a lot, I even saw it twice, so let's talk about this series in two.

The Sandman narra la historia de Sueño o Morfeo rey de los sueños y las pesadillas, siendo uno de los 7 Eternos, seres inmortales que vivirán hasta el fin de los tiempos. Sueño, quien hace su trabajo en el mundo de los sueños, es atrapado por unos humanos que experimentaban con "brujería" quedando encerrado durante 70 años, tiempo en el que el mundo de los sueños sufrió estragos. Al ser liberado, sueño planea su venganza, recupera sus pertenencias y en el proceso, sufre un cambio de pensamientos.

Después de tener todo su poder y de ver las cosas con otra perspectiva, Morfeo busca exactamente que hacer o como actuar, como mejorar y también entiende lo valioso que son los Humanos. Su hermana, Muerte, tiene una conversación con él y le recuerda sobre un amigo que hizo Morfeo en el pasado, el cual rechazo y ahora es el momento de aceptar que sí, eran amigos, fue un momento bastante lindo en la serie. Luego de eso, nos muestran la historia de una chica llamada Rose Walker, quien se entera de muchas cosas en su vida, nada interesantes para los espectadores, pero se sabe que es nieta de Unity Kincaid, una persona que sobrevivió a la "enfermedad del sueño" y que luego tomaría el papel de Rose, convirtiéndose en el Vórtice de los sueños.
