Big Lake "Wannsee" in the Southwest of Berlin

Hello Hive,

I wanna show you a beautiful excursion/day trip destination when you are visiting Berlin,
the capital of Germany. It's the famous "Wannsee"/ lake Wannsee in the southwest of Berlin.
You can reach their by train (S-Bahn) or you do it like i did with a good friend, by bike.
It will take you about 30 minutes by train from Berlin-West to reach the lake or 60-120 minutes with the bike, depending on how fast you can go. 😉

You will find...

...beach locations, a lots of sailing ships and a beautiful bicycle way surrounding the lake.
You can take a trip on a boat or you explore the bike paths, best with a mountain bike,
like I did with my friend the other day.
You find food stands for french fries & the famous Berlin curry sausage or you take a break in one of the beer gardens and see how much German beer you can handle.😅 🍺
Don't drink too much, if you still want to bike back to the city! But if you do, no problem, you can take the bike with you on the way back with the train, but that costs a little extra...the train station is also called "Berlin-Wannsee".

Wannsee...

is also known for upper standard real estate and you will find beautiful houses right close to the lake. But no matter if you want to rent or to buy, you need the right "pocket money" to
afford this location.
