Clasico postponement is the closest option?
The decision to postpone the clasico clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid, scheduled for October 26, appears to be the closest in light of the protests in Catalonia.
According to the newspaper "Marca", all attempts to hold the game on time at the Camp Nou, failed either from the League of La Liga or the Football Federation or the Spanish government.
The League of La Liga applied to the Spanish federation, to play the game at the Santiago Bernabeu, instead of Camp Nou, but the proposal was rejected by Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Clasico on December 18 is the best option at the moment.
The newspaper said that this day was not requested by the League, but it is the right time for all parties, despite the existence of conflicts with the King's Cup matches, although the closest non-participation of Real, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Valencia in this role because of the association with the Spanish Super Cup in January.
The decision is in the hands of the competition committee of the Spanish federation, where it is scheduled to vote next Monday.
