Hello everyone!

This is the Lovesniper Retention curation initiative aiming to retain those quality content creators after making their introduction posts. It was observed that after newbies made their introduction posts, their succeeding posts are often ignored. This initiative will hopefully encourage the newbies to continue posting quality content and interact with anyone in the community. As compilation posts are also done, this will highlight the newbies and will give the community an idea which newbie to look out for.

OCD's Lovesniper team will follow everyone who made an introduction post and @lovesniper's feed will be the place to scour those quality content from new authors. Curators will check all the posts in the feed to find under-rewarded posts and recommend them for curation.

Here the recommended posts for OCD upvote for this batch of love sniper retention curation:

Día de piscina/pool day💦[ESP-ENG]

Our day started at 8 in the morning and our first stop was to go buy candy and food to take with us, then we headed to the place and to our biggest surprise it was completely empty, there was only the employees, we had the place to ourselves alone and we liked it because that way we were calmer about our things, it was everyone's first time going to that pool and we liked it a lot, the place is nice, it was quite quiet and you could feel the peace, something that I didn't like was that in the pool area There are no trees so there is no shade inside the pool but everything else is very cool, the pool is a good size and in terms of depth it was also perfect, one thing I like about pools or places where they can accidents occur is the security there is and there was the lifeguard waiting and scolding those who didn't know how to swim for going into the deepest part. We shared, we ate, we took photographs and our tradition is to tell the anecdotes we have together and remember our moments at school, we had fun and as always, laughter is never lacking when we are together. We were super burned out and tired but how nice it was to share this outing with them

Fotografia De Mi Entrenamiento de Hefesto [ESP🇪🇸-ENG🇺🇸]

Hello to all my Hive and SWC friends! I'm Wilfrer Astudillo, known as @wilfrer-sw, and I'm excited to be able to share with you all some pictures of my training focused on the hefesto, an advanced movement within calisthenics. This movement is impressive and challenging, but it also requires a great deal of caution, as it can be injurious if not trained properly. Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to the technique

. Before starting the hefesto training, it is essential to stretch properly to avoid any injuries. In this training session, there were only a few exercises, but they are the most essential to work on the hefesto. I did 10 repetitions of korean dips, to strengthen the muscles involved in the hefesto.

In addition, I did 3 to 5 reps of assisted hefesto using a rubber band, which helped me to practice the technique without overloading my body. Finally, maximum negative hefesto, which is excellent for developing the strength needed to execute the movement in its full form. All these exercises were performed in 4 sets, which allowed me to work in an effective and controlled manner.

Deliciosas Hallacas [ESP||ENG]

Hello my dear friends, here I am presenting a gastronomic tradition of my country Venezuela, we enjoy this delicious food when Christmas is approaching, on this date the whole family gathers to prepare our Christmas dish called hallacas, which are made with pork, beef and chicken is a very elaborate dish, wrapped in banana leaves, filled with a delicious stew and covered with a dough made with corn flour, for us it is very important to do it surrounded by family and friends.

I start to elaborate the stew a day before, it is a stew that contains a great variety of ingredients, and its cooking is a little slow, and the next day in collaboration with family and friends we make the hallacas, I love to make this typical dish because it is a tradition that is transmitted from generation to generation, and we enjoy a pleasant family atmosphere, where we listen to music like the Gaita, very peculiar Christmas carols of this time of the year.

Good dear friends, this is one of the many dishes that we make here, I am happy to share with you this food full of flavor where the memories of each family that makes this very special dish at Christmas time are always present.

Alas de mariposa para luci (eng-esp)

A few days ago when I went to school to pick up Luci, the teacher told me that I had to take her to school the next day dressed up as an animal, I immediately thought of a crocodile, she also said that it could be something simple and suggested a butterfly. Once at home her mother, who liked the idea, told me to dress her up as a monarch butterfly, I for my part had already given in to the fact that it would be a butterfly, I refused to be a monarch and since I would be in charge of making the costume, I thought about what other species I could represent and I took the opportunity to make a nostalgic tour of the few books I still have on entomology, In the end I decided on the Papilio lorquinianus, the green swallowtail butterfly, a species that in my opinion is much more striking and less common than the well-known monarchs, as well as a discreet tribute to the French naturalist Pierre Joseph Michel Lorquin in honor of whom the species was named.

Second Place [ESP | ING]

Last year I had the opportunity to participate in the Oh yara bars competition in Paita, Peru. The excitement of representing my team and competing against other talented athletes was immense. Despite having visited Paita before, the day of the competition felt special. The energy in the environment was contagious, and the presentation of the judges motivated us to give our best. From the beginning, my team and I set out to reach first place. Each round was a new opportunity to demonstrate our skills. I combined static and dynamic in the hope of impressing the judges. Unfortunately, my friends were eliminated one by one, leaving only three of us in the final. Despite having my fingers full of calluses, product of effort, I did not give up and executed my best combos. The physical pain vanished when I saw my friend lift the first place trophy. The joy of seeing my team succeed was indescribable. Although I didn't get first place, second place was an achievement I was very proud of. The tears I shed were of emotion, not of sadness, since we had achieved our main goal: that our team took the first three places. In addition to the competition, the experience allowed me to meet amazing people and forge new friendships. The bonds that are created in this type of event are special, since we share a common passion. The Oh yara bars competition in Paita was an unforgettable experience that marked me deeply and motivated me to continue training and improving.

Hurricane Rafael hits Cuba

Since yesterday afternoon, the occidental part of Cuba found itself under the strong winds of Hurricane Rafael. Around 4 PM it entered the island from the south. It started raining and blowing. Artemisa province (where I live) was affected since it passed through here. Experiencing a hurricane can be intimidating.

In the Caribbean there’s several hurricanes every year in the season from August to November. Many islands around live the impact of this meteorological phenomenons. This year alone, Cuba has had several of them with two damaging ones. One impacted very badly the oriental part of Cuba where several houses were destroyed and some people lost their lives. Rafael, with category 3, impacted the occidental part with several damages to houses, sport areas and hospitals. These damages happen even though we get ready like 3 days in advance. When the wind is so strong, anything can happen.
