***Kukulcania hibernalis*** a tenebrouse harmlessness
Today I will talk about a beautiful specimen of arachnid called Kukulcania hibernalis, which can be found in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.

These specimens of this family have great and obvious physical differences between males and females, since the males are amber or grayish in color, they also have a line on the abdomen that runs from the eyes to the abdomen, the females, on the other hand, are larger and it has a prominent abdomen and if it is pregnant it is even more noticeable and they are black.
Estos especímenes de esta familia tienen grandes y obvias diferencias físicas entre machos y hembras, pues que las hembras y son color ambar o grisáceos, también tienen una linea en el abdomen que recorre de los ojos al abdomen, las hembras en cambio son de mayor tamaño y cuenta con un abdomen prominente y si esta preñada se nota aún mas y son de color negro.
These spiders like closed and dark spaces, they are usually found in human infrastructures, in dry objects and hiding places. They have a very distinctive web because it is thick and in certain parts it has a special glue, although the males do not make webs because they like to wander to find a mate and reproduce.
A estas arañas les gustan los espacios cerrados y oscuros, usualmente se les encuentra en infraestructuras humanas, en objetos secos y escondites. Tienen una telaraña bastante distintiva pues es gruesa y en ciertas partes tiene un pegamento especial, aunque los machos no fabrican telarañas pues ellos gustran de vagar para encontrar pareja y reproducirse.
The females lay up to 200 eggs in a thick cocoon and incubate inside the nest, the females have an estimated life time of up to eight years, this species is completely harmless and even very beneficial because they help control pests such as flies, cockroaches and even beetles.
Las hembras llegan a poner hasta 200 huevos en un capullo grueso e incubado dentro del nido, las hembras tienen un tiempo estimado de vida de hasta ocho años, esta especie es completamente inofensiva e inclusive muy beneficiosa pues ayudan a controlar las pestes como moscas, cucarachas y hasta escarabajos.
