Gli esseri umani, crescono solo nel muoversi, fuori e dentro loro stessi.
Dunque ci siamo, manca poco, tra poco atterri in mezzo a noi. In mezzo al primo pianto che ci regalerai, in mezzo al primo amore che vivrai, o all’idea che seguirai, in mezzo ad un gran casino in cui sentirai voglia di ballare, in mezzo ad un silenzio che vorrai ascoltare, in mezzo a infiniti colori che percepirai in mille modi, in mezzo a mille domande che inseguirai, o a mille risposte da cui scapperai, in mezzo alle solitudini in cui ti ascolterai (fallo sempre), in mezzo al tuo essere unico al mondo, come quello che adesso hai nella culla accanto, in mezzo agli altri, ai loro sorrisi, alle loro lacrime, alle loro emozioni, in mezzo a mille cose che non conoscerai e che vorrai incontrare. In mezzo a questo continuo divenire, a questo ciclo di energie di cui sei parte importante. Tra poco atterri, e io penso: meno male che sei arrivata.
Il primo anno lo passi qua, a Firenze, e non sai quanto sia felice di questa cosa … vale aspettare anni interi, per una cosa del genere.
Ora, io avrei una gran voglia di scriverti un manualino con tutta una serie di dritte, che credo vere (anche se ogni giorno, scopro felicemente, che sono tutte “bugie”, che la vita se ne frega, e nel farlo mi riempie di speranza e curiosità) ma un consiglio, voglio dartelo, un qualcosa che ti tornerà sempre utile: ama.
E’ corto, e lo ricorderai facile: ama … non c’è molto altro da fare, divertiti a capire cosa significa, e ricordati che sarà il viaggio più bello che potrai fare in questo posto … in cui tutti ora diranno: ECCOTI!

In the midst of this continuous becoming, this cycle of energies of which you are an important part. Soon you will land and I will think: thank goodness you have arrived.
You're spending your first year here, in Florence, and you don't know how happy I am about that... it's worth waiting years for.
I'd love to write you a handbook full of advice that I believe to be true (even though every day I am happy to discover that they are all "lies", that life doesn't care, and that fills me with hope and curiosity), but I'd like to give you one piece of advice that will always be useful: love.
It's short and you'll remember it easily: love... there's not much else to do, have fun finding out what it means, and remember that it will be the most beautiful journey you'll ever take in this place... where everyone will now say: "THERE! THERE!

I would finish the book with a video of a concert that took place in 2020 in June, between lockdowns. It is a bit of evidence of how we can in any situation create unity, value. Here the mechanics of the heart is that mechanics that allows you to create your universe and remind you that you are the creator of the universe. You are what you make.
