Hello dear Hivers! Today I want to share with you a very special project I recently made: a collage inspired by two great masters of art, Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent van Gogh.

As an art lover, I have always felt a deep admiration for the talent and genius of these two artists. Their ability to convey emotions through their works is simply fascinating. So I decided to unite them in a single project, creating a unique and personalized collage.

¡Hola querdos Hivers! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un proyecto muy especial que realicé recientemente: un collage inspirado en dos grandes maestros del arte, Leonardo da Vinci y Vincent van Gogh.

Como amante del arte, siempre he sentido una profunda admiración por el talento y genialidad de estos dos artistas. Su capacidad para transmitir emociones a través de sus obras es simplemente fascinante. Así que decidí unirlos en un solo proyecto, creando un collage único y personalizado.


STEP BY STEP - PASO A PASO

To do this, I carefully cut out fragments from a book by Leonardo da Vinci, in which his ideas, sketches and annotations were described. These clippings were little literary treasures full of knowledge and the magic of the Renaissance.

But I didn't stop there, I also decided to add elements of Van Gogh to my collage. I used small replicas of some of his most iconic paintings.

Para ello, recorté cuidadosamente fragmentos de un libro de Leonardo da Vinci, en el cual se describían sus ideas, bocetos y anotaciones. Estos recortes eran pequeños tesoros literarios llenos de conocimiento y la magia del Renacimiento.

Pero no me quedé ahí, también decidí añadir elementos de Van Gogh a mi collage. Utilicé pequeñas réplicas de algunos de sus cuadros más icónicos.

After I had the cut-outs and the van Gogh elements, I carefully put them together to create unique things, recreating the union between two great visionaries of art. I wanted this collage to be more than just a painting as I wanted to make it fun as well.

Después de tener los recortes y los elementos de van Gogh, los uní cuidadosamente creado cosas unicas, recreando la unión entre dos grandes visionarios del arte. Quería que este collage fuera más que un simple cuadro ya que lo queria hacer divertido tambien.

Finally, I decided to frame the collage as if it were a painting. I wanted this creation to have a special place in my home, so I placed it in the living room. Now, every time I walk into that room, I can contemplate the beauty of these two brilliant minds immortalized in something authentic and fun.

This project reminded me how important it is to bring art into our lives. Not only through museums and galleries, but also in more personal and creative ways. Transforming something as common as a collage into a unique and meaningful piece is a way to manifest our passion for art and honor those who have inspired us.

I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse into my project. Remember that art and creativity have no limits, and each of us has the ability to be a true artist in our own lives.

Finalmente, decidí enmarcar el collage como si fuera un cuadro. Quise que esta creación tuviera un lugar especial en mi hogar, así que lo coloqué en la sala de estar. Ahora, cada vez que entro en esa habitación, puedo contemplar la belleza de estas dos mentes brillantes inmortalizadas en algo autentico y divertido.

Este proyecto me recordó lo importante que es llevar el arte en nuestras vidas. No solo a través de los museos y galerías, sino también de formas más personales y creativas. Transformar algo tan común como un collage en una pieza única y significativa, es una forma de manifestar nuestra pasión por el arte y honrar a aquellos que nos han inspirado.

Espero que hayan disfrutado de este pequeño vistazo a mi proyecto. Recuerden que el arte y la creatividad no tienen límites, y cada uno de nosotros tiene la capacidad de ser un verdadero artista en su propia vida.
