That's crazy. Gold and silver are still constitutional money here in the states and my state recognizes it as money, so I don't pay any sales tax on it, only dealer premiums.

All over the world same rule for Gold, but in Indian and Pakistani markets it happens. If one buys off the receipt one-to-one trade pays spot price.
