Mass indoctrination, Day 1 on the 8/8/2022

Calvary greetings to us all. Hope the Lord is been gracious unto us all. Am Ajah Kelvin and am doing this post to share ny lessons from today's Mass indoctrination,Day 1. Our faith can only grow when we give ourselves to the hearing of God's word. . It is through the studying of God's word that we build our faith in God-Romans 10:17.

The mass indoctrination has to do with the study of the teachings and doctrines of Christ that the church is to observe. It is actually wrong to hold fast to the commandments of men and leave the commandments of God. Jesus is the only teacher that was appointed by God to teach us. During the baptism of Jesus, God spoke from heaven, that Jesus is His only begotten son, that we should hear only him. Before we practice religion, we have to do thorough examination of it, comparing one thing with another. For there are some that lay aside the doctrine of God and teach the doctrine of men. God doesn't accept the worship of such people;for they worship him in vain- Mark 7:7-8.

We learnt in Matthew 28:20, that before Jesus ascended to heaven, He left an instruction ( commandment) with the disciples to teach men to observe all things He has taught them and baptized them that believed. The first doctrine of Christ was baptism and hence it's not true to say that there is only ten commandments in the bible as some say. Baptism is a commandment given by God and it's not listed as part of the commandments God gave Moses. Baptism is to come after studying, accepting the teachings and doctrines of Christ.
Anything that is not written in the bible, should be ignored. For if it's not written them it's not a commandment. Anything taught not written isn't a law. For instance it wasn't written in the bible that God would move His throne from heaven bring to earth in Davao; this is false since it's not in the Bible. God isn't a squatter,He can't move His throne from heaven to elsewhere.

From the teaching, we also got the proof that baptism was the first doctrine of Christ. Paul was a member of Judaism (Galatians 1:13) and was persecuting Church before he was arrested by Christ.
After Paul was converted,he was first told to get himself baptized and be cleansed before he can be added to the church.
We also learnt that it is a wrong teaching to say that it is not necessary to go to church. The church was made for us to attend. Christ loves the church and purchased it with His blood. The church in the bible had no end and it's wrong to say that the era of the church is over/ past as some do claim. The church is established to teach the wisdom of God. It is wrong saying that the church is not necessary. Acts 20:28, Ephesians 3:10-11. And Galatians 6:10, encourages us not to despise the gathering of the brethren. The church is eternal and would remain till Christ comes.

To see what is true,we have to compare one thing one to another (Ecclesiates 7:27). So, any man to teach that the church is over is an anti- Christ. We really need to study the bible because of mixed up out there.
The word church is being interchanged nowadays. According to Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 3:6,we are members of the body of Christ (the church) and we are to part of it; it's a continuation. It's in the church of God that those are baptized are to join. Christ purchase the church with His blood-Acts 20:28. Instead of church of God,some translations have it as church of Christ. In John 12;49-50, when Christ was speaking, He was speaking the mind of God- Deut18: 18.
Acts3:18-20 Christ did not come to build His church but that of GOD. In Isaiah 43:7, the church should be called by His name. Everything of God should be called by His name. The house hold of is the church and should be called by His name. It is the church of God that Christ purchased with His blood. Joining the church of God is one of the primary doctrine of Christ but, before we are baptized we must understand the Word of God and believe in it then after which we can be baptized and added to the church.
