Live MCGI Care service for 8/7/22

Good evening brethren. It's your brother Ajah Kelvin. It's indeed by His enabling we are who we are today and all glory to Him for bringing His word daily to us. Nothing can be compared to the word of our hearts. This post is done on the 9/7/22.

We learnt that the heart is a very vital organ of the body. It's forms part of the circulatory system. It has four (4) chambers; the left and right auricle and the right and left ventricle.
The heart beats about 100,000 times in a day and pumps about 2000 gallon of blood daily. The heart of women beats about eight times faster than that of men.
The heart can be affected by diseases such as heart attack, angina(heart pain), heart breaks, etc.
Laughter is good for the heart, we should try to have a merry heart.

We also learnt that, the food we eat doesn't have the capacity to cleanse the heart. But what cleanses the heart is the word of God and this is true according to the book of John 15:3 and James1:21.

I also learnt that we are to confess our sins one to another. We saw this in James 5:16 and Psalms 32:5. We should confess firstly to God and then to our fellow men. If we sin against any man, we firstly sim against God because HE is the one that the commandments. It's also biblical too to pray to God for forgiveness on behalf of the brother/sister who had confessed to us of their wrong doing to us.

According to James 4:13-14, we learnt that we don't need to wait for any special moment to serve God, because nobody knows what tomorrow holds. The right time to serve God is now.

According to Ecclesiates 12:1, we should remember God in our youthful days. We should treat everyday as our last day and we should take an advantage of every opportunity we have to do good. When those that need help comes to us, we should be willing to help them..
It's a happy thing to help , no matter how small it may be.

We also learnt that if we do good, we would also good rewards in return from God. If we are merciful to others, we would also receive mercy from God. We saw this in Matthew 5:7 and Ephesians 6:8. In Psalm 37:25, we are reassured that God can never forsake or neglect us and our loved us. If we do good works,we would receive good rewards too from God.

From the telecast, we saw the MCGI team rendering assistance to a woman who sells cards for someone inorder to make money for living. She gets 250 pieces if she sells all (worth 3000 pieces) and 150 pieces if she doesn't sell all. She is doing this because she doesn't have the capital to start up her own. Her husband does same too. The MCGI team gave her 5000 pieces to start up her own. She was given face mask, alcohol and food to eat too. She never expected it and she was very happy to for kindness shown to her by the church. We should love one another in what ever we do.
God can be exalted through our charity. They glorify God because of the kindness the church demonstrated to them.
We should bear one another's burden- Galatians 6:10.

Lets continually yield ourselves as instrument to do God's will.
