Lessons from mass indoctrination Day 7

My name is Ajah Kelvin and this post was done on the 21/6/22 to share my lessons gained from the teachings.

According to Apostle Paul in Gal 6:10, as children of God, we are expected to do good to all men and not only to our brethrens as some do teach today.
The most important teaching of Christ is love , Firstly to God and then to our fellow men. The book of Matthew 22:37-39, lets us to know that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind, and the second is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

If we truly love our neighbors as we love ourselves,then there would be no killings in the society,but this is so because not all religions teaches this.

In Matthew 5:44 - 45, we learn that our enemies are also to be loved. We should love and pray for them. Our father in heaven does good to both the good and evil. He allows the sun and rain to come upon both the good and evil and we do this,then we can be called children of our father in heaven.
In Luke 6:35, when we do good to our enemies, our reward shall be great and we shall be called His children.
We also learn in Romans 12:19-20, that if our enemies are hungry, we should give them food to eat and if they are thirsty, we should give them to drink. God wants us to overcome our enemies ie draw our enemies closer to Him through our good works.

We are also learn in Matthew 5:42 that when we give to our enemies,we should not expect anything in return from them. Our reward should be of God. Good is to be shown to both the good and evil, so that the evil would become good.

We also learned that the sun and rain, our father brings upon the good and evil is the sun and rain of righteousness. This was seen in Hosea 10:12. Plants needs this rain and sun of righteousness to grow.
God instructs us to do good to the evil because He wants the evil too to be saved.
According to 1 Corinthians 9:20-22, Apostle Paul related to all men in all categories that he might be able to win them to God.

If all religions teaches like this, then there would be no killings, but this is so and hence we still killings and rape cases in the society.
We learn in Acts 24:16, that we should be void of offense towards God and towards men too. The good that God wants us to do the law and the law is good and the good is to feed the hungry, give to the needy,etc ;this we saw in Romans 7:12.

In Ephesians 4:32, we learnt that we should be kind one to another and tender hearted, forgiving one another as God for Christ sake as forgiven us too. When we are kind hearted ,we would give with a kind heart and we would be merciful too to one another. When we are merciful, we would also obtain mercy from God as seen in Matthew 5:7.
I also learn in 1 Corinthians 6:4, that Filing charges against one another is prohibited as children of God. We should learn to settle disputes within the church and we should be willing to forgive one another. Division is not expected to be amongst us.

We learn in 1John 3:18, that should not just love in words but also in deeds and truth. True love is demonstrated through work. It's our obligation to do good to all men. We should do so to our brethrens and those that aren't our brethrens.

Our primary purpose as children of God is to lead our fellow men to God and to strife with one another. Lets not be quick to judge others but lets give them chance to hear the gospel and repent. Matthew 5:19, tells us that men should see our good works and glorify our father in heaven. 1 Corinthians 9:22, tells us this too.

Showing love to one another is expected to continue amongst us. Paul teaching in Hebrew 13:1, told us to continue to remain in brotherly love. And that we should honour all men too and not just to our parents or those close to us; 1 Peter 2:17 told us this.

Lastly, we also learned that we should pray for those in authority according to 1Timothy 2:1-3, for this is acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God. We should submit to the government, particularly if it's good to its constituency.
