My lessons from old path mass indoctrination ,Day 12.

Good day everyone. Trust we are all doing greatly. No doubt the mass indoctrination is really a blessing to me. I am brother Kelvin Ajah and am doing this post to share my lessons from the mass indoctrination Day 12. This post is done on the 27/7/22.

The teachings on the day 12 mass indoctrination was focused on the four types of heart that receives God's word.
Indeed, it is not by power neither is it by might but it is by the spirit says the Lord. For without God, we can do nothing.

It is God that helps us to desire to be good or do good things. It is not by our own making or power. Even to come to repentence , it is as a result of the goodnessof God' s work. Some people actually think God is not the one helping them but scriptures let us to know that of every good work we do, God is the one behind them. We don't know how to do good of our own. God is the one that works in us both to do and to will of His good pleasure-Romans 2:4 .
It is God that Works in us to do good. Doing good starts with God and is a fact that we must come to know. He is the one that gives us the desire to do good. Ordinarily our desire is to earthly things. Commonly, the desire of men is not to know God because most of the desire of man is the things of the world e.g having spouse, having children, friends,etc. The natural man only thinks of the things of the earth.Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
As christians we are expected to always dwell our thinking on things that are above because this would equally affects the way we doings things-Colossians 3:1

leaning the doctrine of God is the work of God.Our primary activity is to seek our creator. Those that seeks God finds Him
Acts 17:26-27. God is close to them that seek Him and He would be found of them
Isaiah 65:1.He is close to them that are seeking Him.

We also learnt in Matthew 13:3-8 and Luke8:13-15 that they are four types of heart that listen or receives the word of God. Jesus usese the parable of the sower to illustrate this. There's is the heart that receives the word of God but because of distractions on the way, the word of God couldn't abide. According to 1 Peter 5:8,the devil is always by the way side to steal away God's word from our heart. we need to internalize the word for it to remain in us and bear fruits. The seed on the rock lacks soil and when the sun comes up it withered away because of lack of nutrients. Those that fell on torns are so carried away with the things of the world. The seed that falls on good soil brings forte good fruits with patients-Luke8:15.

In conclusion, irrespective of the kind of heart we have, we have hope. God can change any heart if only we belief in God's word. Paul was a chief sinner but he was changed by God.
