Every army should have them, every artisan should hire them, and every noble should own one. If you need absolutely anything, then a supply runner will get it for you. For their size they can carry vast amounts, they’re incredibly fast and they’ll even defend your deliveries with exuberant relish. Not only that but their expertise with the catapult they carry is renowned across the land. Countless confrontations have been recorded in the history books of these hired hands coming to the aid of convoys beset by bandits or roaming patrols attacked by the enemy. They have swarmed the foe, firing their shot down upon them and running havoc amongst their ranks with their incredible speed. Most of these forays have ended with the enemy fleeing, but those that did remain and fight didn’t last for long.

Gnomes have lived throughout Praetoria ever since the land was inhabited and are stalwart characters indeed. It is unsure as to whether they are native to this continent or not, but what is clear is that they didn’t originate or come from any of the other known Splinters. Talon and Gorst are the agency that hire them out and this organisation has always been crystal clear in the first and most important clause of their contracts, ‘These creatures are not to leave the shores of Praetoria, ever!’ Whether they are simply unwilling to share these efficient people with the rest of the world or there is some darker more sinister note that prevents them travelling is unknown, but the Praetorians don’t really care seeing as they have the exclusivity rights.

Usually, Gnomes have a natural resistance to magic, but the creeping plague seems to have afflicted some of them in a most curious way. You may get lucky and find one that has picked up the odd abilities that are incredibly useful when working with others, but on the other hand, some side effects have led to manic behaviour, an affinity to ale, mischievous use of their catapults, and downright murderous conduct. Needless to say, reliability can now be a bit hit and miss. You are strongly advised to read your contract of employment carefully, or you may find yourself in an unpleasant situation.

I have to be honest that I never used the Supply Runner before, because there was always some kind of subtitue creature instead of him. My card is only Level 1, because I am still fighting my way out from Silver League and I can't really use a higher Level of him.

The extra difficulty for me in this Challenge was that I didn't want to rent any high powered card to support the Supply Runner, so we can examinate the true power of this creature. I don't want to spoil it already, but the result of the battle will be shocking. 😱

Let's see his stats and abilities on all levels.

The Supply Runner stats at Level 1 are not great, because he cost 6 mana, which is a lot. The 2 Ranged Damage is not bad, but even on higher Levels are not really increasing. His true power comes at Level 5+, because he receives Swiftness, which will increased the Speed 👟 of all of his friendly Monsters.

He is a Neutral monster, so bringing him in any team over Level 5 is a good strategy, because in an equal battle you will have the first attack with every creature you have thanks to his Swiftness. The extra Health, which he provides on Level 10 comes handy as well, but it is not that important.

Summoner
General Sloan

I don't really play with the White Splinter and even if I have to choose I am picking Lorna and her Sneaky Gang to destroy my opponent.

The Supply Runner changed my perspective this time and I brought General Sloan who gives all of his creatures +1 Ranged Attack, so it was a no brainer to pick him and buff the Supply Runner and his fellow teammates. 🏹

Chaos Knight


The Chaos Knight is a good tank, not excellent, but it is very usefull as she has the Shield ability, which is reducing the damage from Melee and Ranged attacks targeting her. The only drawback if the opponent picks Magic damage, because the Chaos Knight is completely useless against them.

She doesn't have a huge Health Pool, but it was exactly enough for the Venari Crystalsmith to heal him up to full Health in every round. ❤️

Venari Crystalsmith


The Venari Crystalsmith was a lifesaver thanks to her Tank Heal ability, which restores a portion of the Monster Health in the first position's in each round. Even the LLama with the Flesh Golem dream team was not enough to damage through my Chaos Knight and Venari Crystalsmith combination.

Pelacor Arbalest


The Pelacor Arbalest is one of the best creature from the Pelacor family, but he require a very good protection from either side of the battlefield. His most important ability is the Double Strike, which as the name implies let the monster to attack twice in one round.

His health pool is quite low and he is an easy target, but if he can survive few round he will destroy any one standing front of his tank. Especially is we are using him with General Sloan to increase his Ranged attack by one. 😇

Supply Runner


The Supply Runner cost 6 mana, which is quite high, but because the ruleset of Even Stevens he turned out to be an excellent choice for this battle. He took advantage from General Sloan as well as he is a Ranged attacker and his speed is the best out this team I picked.

The battle result was shocking for me, because when I saw the Llama and Flesh Golem combination I didn't give any chance to my team to survive long enough to damage down the Golem within the timer of 20 rounds. I was completely amazed how the battle turned out, because the Chaos Knight could succesfully tank my opponent whole team with her only 4 Health ❤️ with the help of the Venari Crystalsmith of course. 🙏🙏🙏

As soon as the Flesh Golem fell in to the tank position and received the buff from the Llama things started to be interesting, because the Flesh Golem received a speed buff as well, so my team started to miss him quite a lot. (I have the exact number, but I can't tell it right now as this will be part of the giveaway question! 😉)

I was very happy for this battle to turn out as a winning one, because to beat a LLama is always a big satisfaction as he is one of the best summoner in the whole Splinterlands.
