I'm crazy for believing in cryptocurrencies...

My family, my partner and friends tell me that I am crazy, for believing in cryptocurrencies. All of them think I'm crazy because I believe in cryptocurrencies...

Hummm... The truth is that I am really crazy, but it's not because of my belief in cryptocurrencies, that comes from much earlier...

Cryptocurrencies are perhaps one of the few sane things in my life; they are part of the little sanity that still remains in my mind. Now... You know what's really crazy and no one seems to notice? The Fiat money...

And everyone will comes to tell me... "How do you say that fiat money is crazy?????", "How dare you????", "Are you crazy..."

Well yes, I can assure you... And no, none of the voices that live in my head told me (lately they have been very quiet).

As I said, yes I am very crazy, but it seems to me that the world is much crazier than me sometimes, because believing in fiat money is crazy. Think about it for a second, something that governments issue, without any order, at their whim, and they control, penalize and limit it; it is much more far-fetched than what cryptocurrencies are.

And although it is crazy, humanity still believes, after millennia, that fiat money is the best means of payment, and continues to believe that it is the most convenient for economies and nations....

But I... I bet that cryptocurrencies will dethrone fiat money. Today I am crazy to say it, and maybe tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow and I will always be considered crazy, but as I already said, that has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies. Beyond that, I am sure that cryptocurrencies came to be the ideal solution for everyone.

Because nobody can issue bitcoin indiscriminately, nobody can block our bitcoin from us because they don't like us, nor can they limit the amount of bitcoin we decide to pay or transfer to someone else.

Actually, now that I think about it, I think cryptocurrency is crazy, but a good one. Now I know that there are good craziness and bad craziness. Good madness: Cryptocurrencies. Bad madness: Fiat money.

Am I crazy for believing in cryptocurrencies? Well yes, but I'm on my way to becoming a rich madman; and I mean it.
