Epic Card Hunting - My Splinterlands Journey with Glint and Luck

Hi guys! Welcome once again to a Splinterlands post where I'll be sharing my activities in Splinterlands.

Lately, I've been saving up Glint to purchase an Epic Rarity Draw that will give me Epic Splinterlands Cards. It takes a while for me to gather 7,500 Glint, so it took me some time before I could buy it. Earlier, I finally completed the 7,500 Glint I needed, so I decided to purchase it.

I purchased an Epic card before, and the first one I got was Halfling Refugee. I've been using it a lot in battles as a filler.

Although I don't like its ability, since many times it's the one that gets affected by its own ability, I still use it because I feel its attack power and health compensate for that drawback.

Honestly, there are some cards I try to avoid getting from the Epic Draw because I feel they might do more harm than good to my gameplay.

Some of them include

Shock Trooper, which shocks allied units. Although it has strong magic damage, why would I want my own units to get damaged, right?

Arachne Weaver, which does heal its allies by 70%, but after healing, it reduces their max health by 1.

And lastly, Kha'Zi Conjurer, which I once used when I rented it from the market. It has strong attacks, but when I used it, I found out that it also affects both itself and its allies with a burn ability. So, it ended up burning itself along with its teammates.

What I really want to get are one of these- Thanalorian Blade, Olivia of the Brook, or Night Reaper.

So, I went ahead and bought the draw, and here’s what I got

Yup! Khazi Conjurer! I used it in a battle and placed it beside a unit with the martyr ability. I expected it to burn the adjacent unit too, but it didn’t. Hahaha!!!

I still have more Glint to collect by the end of the season, and I'll use it to buy another Epic draw. Hopefully, this time I’ll get the card I want, depending on the value of Glint when I burn it. Hahaha!!!

If you also want to enjoy playing Splinterlands, you can click my banner with the referral link. You can try the game in free-to-play mode first, but if you want to earn while playing, you need to buy a Spellbook which costs only $10. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this game because I’ve been playing it for over 2 years and I still haven’t gotten tired of it.
