Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Growing my Collection

Hello Splinterlands Summoners! I earned some Glints this season and it's time to upgrade some of my cards. This time I will be buying common chests.

Previously, my common cards were at level 2 and 3.

While they may not be at the optimal level yet, I've already been using some of them and I've been finding them useful in some rulesets. I can't wait to upgrade them to at least level 6.

Here's the link to the card opening:

Upgraded Cards

Drybone Hobgoblin

This card will be useful in low mana battles. Having the Reach ability, it will be in the second position with the Monk or Antoid Platoon in the first position. It also has the Immunity Ability which will be useful in Noxius Fumes ruleset.

Chaos Evoker

I haven't used this card yet but it looks good having the Blast ability. It has also decent speed and magic damage.

Giant Alpine Skink

This card will find a niche in my deck once upgraded to at least level 5 where it will have the Phase to complement its Shield ability. This will be decent tank with high damage and speed. The only thing I don't like is its low health at the moment.

Ujurak the Brave

image.png

A tank that maybe useful in some rulesets. With Immunity ability this will be good in Noxius Fumes and with Silence it will be a great anti-magic tank and will synergize well with Thadius Brood summoner. On the other hand, at 6 mana I don't think it will replace the great Windeku as my primary tank in the Death Deck.

Common Cards so Far

My commons are now at level 3 and 4. Some will realize their potential at level 5 and 6 since I'm using a level 5 summoner. I also have some gold foils which I may burn and use the Glints to purchase more chests.

Thank you for reading and have fun playing and collecting in Splinterlands!

The common reward cards are wonderful! The only one that I didn't find use for yet is the Conscript, all the others I have used several times. Especially the Huntress finds its way into the team many times, a great card - and at level 5 it becomes even more useful! The team did a great job in giving these cards good use without overpowering them.

Huntress, Luceheim Demon, Drybone Hobgoblin and Broken Earth Thug will be good additions to our deck. Conscript costs 6 mana and poor stats. It has some abilities that maybe useful in some rulesets.
